I'm aware of this law and of the enormous forces that it takes to slow down a planet and change the direction of rotation, but it is not the whole planet that has to slow down, just the crust.
What do we really know for sure of the earth, especially the core of the planet, what do we really know of that what is lying ahead of us in space?
In my view the mind comes before matter, the unseen (until now not measured) was before matter, and though these 'forces' are weak, they formed / form the universe.
This area of science are we beginning to research, it was the science of the ancient cultures, all of these cultures warned us of the chaos that was at the end of the great cycles.

I did not say that this will happen, but if it happens the earth will not stop for years, but for days, and what does stop is not the entire earth but the crust, this very thin layer we are living on.
