The earth has been rumbling and changing for billions of years. It's nothing unique. I live in Florida and about five years ago there was a huge quake in the gulf of Mexico. It was on a Sunday morning and I was in my home office when everything rumble and shook for a couple of seconds. I'm glad it was centered in the gulf and not on land.

i've lived in chicago for 21 years, my WHOLE LIFE. An earthquake is NOT NORMAL. I have never experienced one here in brookfield. FOX news claims that we have 1 earthquake a year.......is this correct? I know in southern ILLINOIS they have some every now and then, but isnt the particle accelarator near that location of where the quake was felt the most? Someone here has got 2 have some more information on this....

When you look at the history of the earth and the solar system, how do you define "normal"? Our lifespan is less than the blink of an eye in geological time.
