Didn't Tesla have something to do with an earthquake generator along with a pain-field generator at some point? I know Mythbusters ran an episode on it once. The basic idea was using a device to tune into the harmonic resonance of a material at such a fine frequency that the oscillation would cause the object to essentially vibrate apart. Eventhough the recent experiments didn't do justice to the Tesla projects, it's still considered theoretically possible and I would not be surprised if a modern ETW exists.

the same harmonic frequency oscillation was used in 1934!!!. by a doctor called raymond "royal" rife, to successfully cure cancer in terminal patients with a 100% record.he went on to discover roughly 500 celular disease frequencies....then they shut him down.
