Whether i believe in this or not, is completely irrelevant. Being an anthropologist, specialized in Vodun religion, i believe all, yet i believe nothing. The simple fact is that virtually any geometric design can be drawn on pretty much anything.
Concealing ritual within designs or projecting beliefs by symbols are an easy way to hide behind a facade making trickery or lies difficult or impossible to detect, prove or disprove.

I myself have studied many cults, religions and social movements and often find that double speak, double meanings and the ever popular "Just trust me." routine often act as a tool to create misdirection or a general waste of one's time. Of course a serious researcher may well jeopardize someone's schemes and since many feel that "All is fair in love and war" that person or group would be considered a viable target for misdirection or even worse.

The web site provided on the topic post here is really, really questionable from many points.
I would prefer to hear a straight forward Satanic post than one posing as something else as the web page seems to meet all the qualifications for being, shall we say, less than stellar as a resource. Now you do mention Voudun we have some way to place your post into a true perspective perhaps. Thanks for clarifying you own position here, it is helpful.
