I have smoked for 30yrs, and i NEVER have had a smokers cough, not once, and although i am not as fit as i was ten years ago that is mostly down to the arthritis rather than the smoking, infact up until a few years ago i was running ten miles daily, never out of puff [excuse pun].
I put it down to the fact i have always smoked tobacco with the blue Rizla cigarette papers which i found to have less saltpeter than the usual variety, and i noticed when i smoked the occasional tailor made cigarette i coughed almost straight away unlike my natural tobacco.
Those awful cigarettes with tips should be banned, they have so many poisons its unreal, they make clothes smell even if you do not smoke if yr are in place where others do, plain tobacco does not do that, and my house never has the smells usual smokers have.
For anyone who smokes the cigs with tips try and change to organic tobacco/papers, because your health and wealth will improve. :cheers:

Bugger-me-daisies I ended up feeling quite sick all night and the next day and not through drinking too much either. I felt physically sick. I got all those symptoms, Spikey mentioned in his post too. Rash, runny nose even got a bloody pimple, LMAO, something I have not had in years. :nope: Ended up going home at 1.30am which is real early for me when I'm out clubbing. I just could not get into the spirit of things, it was terrible. Lots of people were fascinated with my V.cig though, lol---asking lots of questions etc. Was allowed to Vape in the Clubs---(Yeah, I was the only one doing it :alien51: ).....I felt a tad stupid to be honest and started hiding it and turning away and having sneaky puffs on it. Thing is, I vaped in the nightclub and still went outside with the others whose company I was in cause they were all smokers, so I went outside with them and still vaped. It is most likely why I wasn't feeling too good. Too much vaping is not a good thing, and I do remember reading that somewhere, but oh well, I had to learn the hard way I guess. I am back to smoking and vaping, just taking it slow, very slow. It's like I was having withdrawal symptoms (tobacco), cause the moment I had a smoke I felt fine.

Wonder how our other Vaping buddy (Spock) is getting on. Hope he is fairing better than me, lol.

:cheers:

If yoou sucked too hard on the ecig (probably have a cheap one) and got into skin contact with the liquid and even consumed some, that may explain your symptoms.

You are suppose to inhale the vapor (ecig liquid when exposed to vaporator heat source changes chemistry and is made safe for consumption).

:hiho: Hi Elnorel, thanks for joining us. :D

I don't suck hard at all on my E.cig in fact my lips barely touch the cartomizer, I inhale long and slow. :flop: My E.cig was by no means a cheap one either. I brought it from Volcano, I am fully satisfied with it's performance too. Like I mentioned though, something was not sitting well with me on New Years Eve, I really think perhaps I vaped too much, because since then I have cut down on the amount of time I spend "vaping" and I'm doing fine once again. :flop: Nevertheless, thanks for your input, much appreciated. :D

@Spock

Glad to hear you're doing well and continue to enjoy your Infero. :clapper: I'm the same when it comes to having a cigarette after eating a hearty meal. I think the majority of smokers, if not all, enjoy a cigarette after eating a meal, so we're not alone there. I'm smoking no more than four cigarettes a day, one, first thing in the morning with a coffee, two--after lunch and three, after dinner then the last one before I hit the sack. :flop: Am feeling quite proud of myself actually, going from 25-30 cigarettes a day down to 4 a day is just, friggin amazing, absolutely brilliant lol, if I may be so bold to say so myself. :alien51:

As far as e-liquids go, it's one of the reasons I'm not going to buy empty cartridges and try filling them myself, at least, not just yet. Spilling the e-liquid and/or getting it all over my hands is worrisome..eeek. Am going to stick with the purchasing of the cartomizers for a while I think. At the moment am loving Kona Coffee flavour, very pleasant..will definitely order another batch of that flavour. Also am wanting to try Vanilla Bean so those two flavours so far are definitely on the next order. :flop:

@shponglized

:hiho:

Congratulations on your purchase of the Inferno. :clapper: That's truly awesome, may you have a great time "vaping"..and be sure to keep us updated on your progress. :D

@Arella

:hiho:

WOW..that's a nice looking babe you got there! :alien51: Very very nice. :flop: How long have you been vaping for? Any issues along the way when you first gave a cigarettes and switched to vaping? If so, please do share your experience with us. As you can see by some of the posts in this thread, there's a few of us who're pretty much newbies when it comes to vaping but we're getting there and the more input we get from experienced vapers the better. :flop: Thanks for joining us! :D

@Monica

:hiho:

Thanks for joining us, Monica. My late grandfather sadly passed away at the age of 80. He'd been a smoker since the age of 11 :o and he never had a smokers cough until the last couple of years before he passed on. Smoking wasn't the cause of his death though, he didn't have lung cancer, in fact he was a very healthy man right up until he passed away peacefully in his sleep.

As far as roll your own cigarette and papers/tips etc. I've tried once or twice over the years to roll my own and I did not like it one bit LOL. Call me lazy if you want, but I just did not have the time, not to mention patience to roll my own. Besides the taste was awful, arghhh to each and their own of course. :D Thanks for sharing the info. nonetheless. :flop: :D

:cheers: everyone and happy vaping!!!! :D :D

hi jet,

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Started 2 years ago with sky cig which was rubbish, then went on to riva 510t which was good for like 12 months then realised the battery kept playing up and it was going to cost me more than if i had a 10 box a day to replace so hunted for the next best thing which was the one i showed earlier which is perfect and has kept me happy since july 2012. since vapeing i have not had a real cig since only the herb for recreational purposes of course.

Well day one on the vapor trail, and things are good. I had half an analog cig when I woke up, then a full one on the way to work. Also bought a pack as I was running low and thought I'd need more to get through the day. Got to work and my Inferno had arrived. Set it up and got started. I haven't touched an analog all day, and the pack I bought is still sealed up tight :)

Hi Arella, you'll have to excuse my tardiness--have been rather busy of late.

Thanks for sharing that info. Sounds like you're onto a good thing with the latest model you have. :flop:

Great to hear/read! Being in New Zealand myself, I'm not able to purchase my Volcano gear from the United States as they don't ship to countries outside of the States so am having to purchase what I need from the UK Volcano site. Bit of a nuisance but it only took 10 days for my Volcano Starters Kit to arrive thus I'm not about to give up vaping anytime soon. Perhaps in time, because I'm still relatively new to all this, I will look into another model, possibly an "Inferno" (Volcano) which I think looks similar to what you are vaping with now. :clapper:

Happy Vaping!! :cheers:

Fantastic, shponglized!!! :clapper: Hope the pack is still sealed up tight and you continue to enjoy your Inferno as much as Spock enjoys his! :flop: :D

Kaarmaa..where you at girlfriend? You still happily vaping away in bathrooms or have you been eaten alive while vaping in the bush? :alien51: :think:

I then discovered that I was confused with another word...

Hmm...if the above quote is anything to go by, I suppose one could be forgiven for the confusion!! :wink:

Hello Jetski :lol:

no problemo, everything is fine. Still vaping, surfing on my little clouds, tasting juices and enjoying taking deep breaths. :flop: And yes, in some places I'm still stealth-vaping :mrgreen:
No tobacco since christmas but to be honest I had the idea of smoking twice, I was very stressed, but it didn't last longer than a few seconds. It's been only a month but I really think that I'm done with the tobacco. And I've converted four people to vaping...things are going good :flop:

@shponglized
:hiho: to vaping. I kept my cigarettes and tobacco, it feels good to know that they are so close but that they're having no more power over me :owned:

For those who are interested, this guy makes reviews on juices and vaping material and I realy enjoy watching his videos (my husband likes the intro of his vids :mrgreen: )

VERY cheap eliquid (China virtually supplies the rest of the world) and equipment.

Zainy (Best and cheapest Chinese supplier i've found - very reliable too)
http://zainy.net/

HEALTHCABIN (2nd best China supplier i've found)
http://www.healthcabin.net

***Tip*** When ordering supplies from China, you can normally get between 3 and 5 times as much for the same money spent in the UK, but the postage is fairly high, so order in bulk...DON'T use 'China post' or you could be waiting up to 2 months for your order to arrive...better to use EMS post or DHL, usually takes about 10 days to the UK.

General links

LOADS of links (compliled by someone else)

We mostly order our juice and consumables from Zainy in China now, as it's SO cheap. Unless we just want a couple of batteries or something in small quantities, then we order locally.

Good luck everyone, keep at it.
