I have smoked for 30yrs, and i NEVER have had a smokers cough, not once, and although i am not as fit as i was ten years ago that is mostly down to the arthritis rather than the smoking, infact up until a few years ago i was running ten miles daily, never out of puff [excuse pun].
I put it down to the fact i have always smoked tobacco with the blue Rizla cigarette papers which i found to have less saltpeter than the usual variety, and i noticed when i smoked the occasional tailor made cigarette i coughed almost straight away unlike my natural tobacco.
Those awful cigarettes with tips should be banned, they have so many poisons its unreal, they make clothes smell even if you do not smoke if yr are in place where others do, plain tobacco does not do that, and my house never has the smells usual smokers have.
For anyone who smokes the cigs with tips try and change to organic tobacco/papers, because your health and wealth will improve. :cheers:

Wonder how our other Vaping buddy (Spock) is getting on. Hope he is fairing better than me, lol.

If yoou sucked too hard on the ecig (probably have a cheap one) and got into skin contact with the liquid and even consumed some, that may explain your symptoms.

You are suppose to inhale the vapor (ecig liquid when exposed to vaporator heat source changes chemistry and is made safe for consumption).

I don't suck hard at all on my E.cig in fact my lips barely touch the cartomizer, I inhale long and slow. :flop:

My E.cig was by no means a cheap one either. I brought it from Volcano, I am fully satisfied with it's performance too. Like I mentioned though, something was not sitting well with me on New Years Eve, I really think perhaps I vaped too much, because since then I have cut down on the amount of time I spend "vaping" and I'm doing fine once again. :flop:

I'm the same when it comes to having a cigarette after eating a hearty meal. I think the majority of smokers, if not all, enjoy a cigarette after eating a meal, so we're not alone there. I'm smoking no more than four cigarettes a day, one, first thing in the morning with a coffee, two--after lunch and three, after dinner then the last one before I hit the sack. :flop:

Am feeling quite proud of myself actually, going from 25-30 cigarettes a day down to 4 a day is just, friggin amazing, absolutely brilliant lol, if I may be so bold to say so myself. :alien51:

As far as e-liquids go, it's one of the reasons I'm not going to buy empty cartridges and try filling them myself, at least, not just yet. Spilling the e-liquid and/or getting it all over my hands is worrisome..eeek. Am going to stick with the purchasing of the cartomizers for a while I think. At the moment am loving Kona Coffee flavour, very pleasant..will definitely order another batch of that flavour. Also am wanting to try Vanilla Bean so those two flavours so far are definitely on the next order. :flop:

How long have you been vaping for? Any issues along the way when you first gave a cigarettes and switched to vaping? If so, please do share your experience with us. As you can see by some of the posts in this thread, there's a few of us who're pretty much newbies when it comes to vaping but we're getting there and the more input we get from experienced vapers the better. :flop:

Thanks for joining us, Monica. My late grandfather sadly passed away at the age of 80. He'd been a smoker since the age of 11

and he never had a smokers cough until the last couple of years before he passed on. Smoking wasn't the cause of his death though, he didn't have lung cancer, in fact he was a very healthy man right up until he passed away peacefully in his sleep.

As far as roll your own cigarette and papers/tips etc. I've tried once or twice over the years to roll my own and I did not like it one bit LOL. Call me lazy if you want, but I just did not have the time, not to mention patience to roll my own. Besides the taste was awful, arghhh to each and their own of course.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Started 2 years ago with sky cig which was rubbish, then went on to riva 510t which was good for like 12 months then realised the battery kept playing up and it was going to cost me more than if i had a 10 box a day to replace so hunted for the next best thing which was the one i showed earlier which is perfect and has kept me happy since july 2012. since vapeing i have not had a real cig since only the herb for recreational purposes of course.

Well day one on the vapor trail, and things are good. I had half an analog cig when I woke up, then a full one on the way to work. Also bought a pack as I was running low and thought I'd need more to get through the day. Got to work and my Inferno had arrived. Set it up and got started. I haven't touched an analog all day, and the pack I bought is still sealed up tight

Great to hear/read! Being in New Zealand myself, I'm not able to purchase my Volcano gear from the United States as they don't ship to countries outside of the States so am having to purchase what I need from the UK Volcano site. Bit of a nuisance but it only took 10 days for my Volcano Starters Kit to arrive thus I'm not about to give up vaping anytime soon. Perhaps in time, because I'm still relatively new to all this, I will look into another model, possibly an "Inferno" (Volcano) which I think looks similar to what you are vaping with now. :clapper:

No tobacco since christmas but to be honest I had the idea of smoking twice, I was very stressed, but it didn't last longer than a few seconds. It's been only a month but I really think that I'm done with the tobacco. And I've converted four people to vaping...things are going good :flop:
