Americans live in a dictatorship now and are in extreme denial about it. There is no such thing as private property ownership. The government owns your home, you just rent it from them and the banks because the banks and corporations ARE the government.

Most people have come to believe that a dictatorship must have an individual despot at the helm. In America, our dictatorship has thousands of despots all being controlled by elite groups of despots. Regardless, it's a dictatorship. But hey, did you see who won American Idol last week?...............

The American people do not realize the power they have to throw off these despots if they would only stop allowing themselves to be mind controlled by them. Any conversation of politics ultimately devolves into an argument over liberal or conservative, democrat or republican, and the powers that be keep us divided so we won't seek of freedom from them.

It is a sad time to be an American.........

I believe the notions of freedom in the legal venue is misleading since all these supposed rights aren't really rights at all; they are granted privileges. If you look at the behavior of the establishments and courts, they know this but tell no one.

Distinguishing rights from real freedoms is what needs clarifying and using as a living philosophy to use on a daily basis - excise is key.

One of the ultimatums in law is that a real freedom or right cannot be contracted away, but granted privileges in the form of legal and political rights can.
