I've never heard of this, to become an American citizen don't you have to take a test and swear allegiance to the country, I'm sure my sister did when she became an American citizen. How can you/just GIVE IT UP!

Just a heads up.

Any person living within the confines of the continental United States, may at whatever point and for whatever reason, revoke their American citizenship.

Naturalized citizens from other countries of origin may do so under international law.

You must declare an immediate post of citizenship, and formally ask for either forced deportation to a state or colony of origin, or claim political refugee status and likewise deportation to a secondary country under the same international protection act.

Once revocation has been accepted, you no longer can turn back.

It is a done deal.

So, the consideration should be made well in advance of such a decision as where you wind uop could be worse than where you are.

Just saying.

Good luck with that and cheers.
