Yea it appears HUGE - massive shadow casting from the side too. Just sitting there in the middle of nothing.

This is shot through a telescope (from Earth), you can see the distortion caused by the atmosphere.This would have to be big. Are there any craters around it that have a known size? If so a comparison may give an idea of the "box" object's size.

all you need is a webcam with a ccd chip and a couple of fittings from ebay. and away you go.

i have the the spc900nc . with a cheap scope. once you got the kit , you just use software. like qfocus or k3ccd tools. also need a laptop or a long lead from your pc to outside.

or you could get one of these. and plug it into your laptop. webcams are cheaper though. and do the same thing.
