in NYC schools todays kids refused to pledge the flag they said if president obama doesnt they should not have to either......great start already wow this is a change and gives me hope for the future of USA... I bet the news won't report on this.....Is this the hope the change we needed and obama promissed??

if so lets go along with it and declare today as a national usa flag burning day,why even have a flag if no one wants to pledge to it no more!!

drjones, Israel is the 51st state. The UK has long been a powerful ally of ours (for better or...) but we'd drop the UK like a hot rock should it ever get between. I say that only as a statement, not an insult or anything else.

gabriel, it's not the fear of Obama, as much as the fear of a new "leader" period. And this one being as historic (and I am careful to give that word neither positive or negative connotation) as it is,
does the world think that all the progress gained for the nwo in the last 8 years will suddenly be reversed? Of course previous administrations played their part, but none to the extent of the last 8.

This may well be a plan to further divide and conquer, the disenfranchised minorities may run amok feeling like no matter what they do, their man in the White House will "have their back".

That's only one small possibility, already we see things like the pledge refusal posted above, I can list a dozen possible eventualities, but I'd rather not manifest that energy, I do have a very VERY small glimmer of hope this situation will improve.

Any negative predictions I may have made, I will gladly EAT MY WORDS to be wrong. We shall see.
