Here in the U.S., when they started announcing several months ago about a federal law passed a couple years prior about all TV stations having to go to DIGITAL broadcasts, well, I knew immediately something was AGAIN a-miss here. This is not something that is necessary for the protection of peoples health, or they would ban the sale of alcohol in gas stations. I live in New Mexico, very remote. The UHF tv bands here are very localized. My tv is often fuzzy just 4 miles from the transmitter tower.
BUT! The Feb, 2009 dates (total economic collapse forcast, swear-in date for new pres.) and a whole STRING of others, Hardly seems a coincidence. Obviously UHF broadcasts would interfere with some other agenda. Would someone step forward with information that may corraberate this?? Any ideas?? Can we put 2 + 2 together here? :geek:
I would like to ask everybody to respond here with like information on events that may be likely to corospond with a Feb 2009 date. Lets see what we have to look forward to in the worst of winter months. Thanx............

the reasons for uhf broadcasting ending is simple
the uhf band can only support limited amounts of channels
but digital can supports many times more along with radio
and the picture quality is many times better (mpeg2 standard)

on the conspiracy side of things

the powers that be want to bombard us with so much propaganda
that uhf just cant handle the volume

From http://www.tgdaily.com/content/view/39755/118/

The switch to digital has been ordered by Congress in an attempt to free the public airwaves for use by other agencies, such as law enforcement and public safety.

Just took a while to find it.

The nice thing though, is that a whole lotta people have UHF antennas on their houses.

Depending on encryption, format, and bandwidth, A regular old TV tuner will be able to scan the UHF band for anything anomalous.
