That movie sent shivers down my spine. I have never felt such a mixed range of emotions. Hate, fear, love and laughter. I was thoroughly embarrassed watching that film, by myself to top it off. Nothing beats the scene where he was serving champagne from a bottle out of his little Asian slaves arse. So compelling and disturbing all together.

Pity about the Ron Paul prank though. I wonder if someone 'higher up' put Cohen up to it.
ie.producers?

ALL my support goes to Ron Paul, one of the few honest congressmen left, this guy should be president, THEN there would be REAL change, back to the values and principles of the founding fathers.

The biggest problem facing our nation right now is the fact that for decades now, our government has been allowing more and more private sector influence. This is the very reason we now have a health care problem...we can thank president nixion for this current health insurance bullshit....We have ex oil industry CEO's sitting on the EPA and we wonder why we don't have green cars yet or over-unity power stations. We have private contractors conducting operations in the middle east and we wonder why the war is still going on. We have ex chairmen from the medical and health insurance industries sitting on the FDA and WHO and we wonder why the #1 cause of death in the U.S. is medical error. And the list goes on and on...corruption, conflicts of interest and striat up bribery for the top down.

I am glad that Ron Paul has succeded in taking the first steps to quell this kind of lame conduct....
But we have a very long way to go before this country will be run by the people for the people...one can of worms has been opened...great!....but there remains a whole warehouse full of cans of worms!!!!
Take it easy...and if its easy...take it twice!!

OK, I watched the damned movie. Not as good as Borat, but there are some great scenes.

The scene where he brings his adopted black baby (named O.J.!) onto an apparently real talk show was one of the funniest, most politically incorrect things I've ever seen.

The fight scene at the end was great, too, not to mention the closing song with all the cameo appearances.

Classic, disgusting but wicked funny Cohen stuff. :flop:

I loved the Ron Paul part, too. :D

So why again are we talking about Bruno? If that was someone's attempt to discredit Ron Paul about the most anyone could ask for if they were "offended" by his words is an apology. He certainly had reason to be mad.

The fact that folks are more interested in talking about that shitty movie rather then the combining of effort from the best two representatives of the people within the Halls of Congress is beyond me.

Sorry, you're right.

Carry on, I'll shut up now :D

It was funny, though...

So long as there is a new episode of American Idol on once a week, most people (about 70%) don't give a shit that our country is in dire straits.....

Excuse me if I don't want to live with feelings of helpless paranoia 24/7...
