Ron Paul or others like him will have my vote in the next election.
He is one of the few people that cannot be bought by corporate america.
There however is one very large problem in his way to the presidency....Media coverage!
The media only covers politicians from the main two parties. Only reps from the main two parties are allowed in the primaries and in the presidential debates. This so called rule, is a giant speed bump for anyone who wants to run against them. It is totally undemocratic in the worst way.
I hope Ron Paul and other independents find a way around these problems, lord knows we need more diverstiy in our government...not just demos and repubs....
Perhaps this recent victory will begin to pave the way for such needfull changes
Oh, that problem is easily solvable. Its called Guerrilla Warfare from within the system. We saw with this bill that Democrats and REpublicans are willing to step away from leadership. We saw Grayson and Paul coming together and crossing the line that divides. So now we can take over the system from within by using Democrats and Republicans that will get Press but yet at the same time are not playing by the same rules and are only seperate in party name but are actually united. We don't need a new party name if we know we are United. We can use their system against them.
