Personally I think there are too many variables in most things to try to single out one practice or line of conscious thinking to suggest, imply, hint, etc it is as some sorta all encompassing great work.
I still am unsure what is "precisely" being said.
what I believe I've read here that in one sense one can change or reclaim themselves outwardly and inwardly (with a presentational focus on homosexuality as an example) by using their conscious mind to change muscle movements which in turn is supposed to change one's conscious and unconscious mind.
As a side note I have seen some say homosexuality is not a choice and is genetic....while others say it is a choice....while another seems to say something far different in one breath while saying something else in another.
Now as far my opinion goes.....homosexuality can have some genetic aspects at play. It can also be by choice. It can also be influenced by environment and experiences. There are so many variables at play that one cannot pluck one variable and call it the root source. To me it is not a disorder nor disease needing corrected. To me homosexuality just is. How one perceives it as it applies to them can become a disorder toward themselves or not depending on their POV. How far they carry it when it becomes such determines whether it becomes an issue with others.
As well....no one is the same. One individual may be completely happy being homosexual whether by choice or by other factors while another may not be. While the practice mentioned may work for someone with the same or similar mindset of the op on the topic...those who do not have such a mindset may not find any use whatsoever in the practice.
What I see here is that someone's sexuality at one point was questioned by themselves. They determined whether it was acceptable to themselves or not and then found a way that worked for them to align themselves with their conclusion as to what works best for them.
Then what i also see is someone wanting to share this with others who may be in the same boat. but i also see it as being presented in some ways as from authority in a very self messianic proselytizing manner even though the claim is not to being so.
Ive seen things in this thread that lend to the thinking that things are supposed to be a certain way.
i am sorry but i just don't buy into lines of thinking like that.
If this method presented works for one (regardless of how it works) great. If this method could work for another....great. But i also think speaking all over the place in vague snippet style only will lead to confusion to those whom it could help. Not being able to understand what one is getting at is not the failure of the reader nor entirely of the speaker. but the bigger onus is always on the speaker to relay the topic to reach the broader audience in the most simplistic terms and concepts as possible. Many people are intelligent but not all are on the same level of knowledge on any given topic. Speaking broadly, cryptically, esoterically, and sporadically about something intended to help...doesn't help at all. What it does do is bring out those who have some understanding of that sorta speak and causes them to call into question if the person is being sincere in the desire to help or just looking (whether consciously or unconsciously) for a conceptual pat on the back! 33 degrees can be mighty cold indeed when one exalts themselves to residing on Pike's Peak!
Excellent post, the best on this thread by a wide margin..
