I can tell you it was not a meteor. I took the pictures with my IPhone. I saw the object make turns and change directions. It was also in the sky much too long to be a meteor. A jet? Maybe. But not a meteor.

As far as I knew, meteors don't bank and turn.

Even its curve isn't perfect, it has a notion of 'control' to it.
