i think what depresses me is that alot of atheists and christians alike take the bible in the most literal if sense (lol and as to atheists i mean they use it literally as ammunition to sling at christians and vice versa of course ) lets put it into perspective it was a different era things we interpet now maybe could not be interpeted as eloquently back in the day of jesus .perhaps a meteorite hit sodom and gomorrah we dont have the facts ,but it could be interpeted as gods wrath .. hell it could have been a tactical nuke . we dont know , we can theorize all we want but its a narrated journal of men living at that time and like all books , modern text included , can be manipulated to suit the times and social situation . man created the bible as a interpetation of god's word according to them , do you really think a god would have to ask them to write down his will , he would just do it , thats what i think anyways, i enjoye those videos and remeber reading a book a while back called the lost testaments of jesus ..lol its probaby the same thing .. but welcome to the forum and good post !
