The following flood statistics have been reported since the beginning of 2011.

Australian Flood: 20 dead; 14 missing; 2.1 million people live in the 51 areas being labelled as disaster zones; 500,000 sq km area affected by flood; more than 20,000 homes and businesses have been flooded; the estimated cost of rebuilding the worst hit Queensland state alone stood at A$10 billions;

Brazil Flood: 626 dead; at least 14,000 people homeless

South Africa Flood: 40 dead

Philippines Flood: 51 dead; 309,002 families or 1,580,543 individuals have been affected by the flood

Sri Lanka Flood: 40 dead; 390,000 homeless; 3744 houses destroyed; more than 1 million people have been affected; destroyed 21 percent of nation's staple rice crop

Nederlands: no casualties

Just the beginning. North America is going to get hammered into submission, look out Cali. Europe, such as Spain and France will recieve far more precipitation than last year. :peep:

And I saw today that there are floods in Oregon and Washington from melting snow, mudslides and avalanches
