Generally...we don't whine a whole bunch here in Alberta...but this shit is out of control....
I'm ok here in the higher elevations, but I can't even get to relatives place in Calgary to help out (an hour south)...The lake I live on is about one foot from overflowing...The natural aquifer that controls the lake levels is at capacity and can't drain it...
The rain has been pretty much non-stop for about 22 days now. The crops are about a month behind and the railways have been parking trains on the bridges so they (the bridges) don't wash away.
I've never seen anything like this....blows monkey chunks...
