A witness to the disturbing crime, Larry Vega, had been riding his bike past the scene. He tried to get the "cannibal man" to stop, but he would not relent."I told him to get off and the other guy just kept eating the other guy away," he told WSVN-Fox 7. "The guy just stood, his head up like that, with pieces of flesh in his mouth. And he growled," the cyclist added. To make the story even more frightening, when the officer fired, police said the attacker continued to chew on the other man's face, forcing the officer to continue shooting until the suspect was dead.

I have been wondering if the release of the genetically modified mosquitoes into the swamp area of Florida in January this year has anything to do with the Zombie problem. If THEY lied to us about virtually everything else then why not a deliberate attempt to make our worst nightmares come true? Homeless men sleep outside and would be bit by mosquitoes obviously. It is a better explanation that bath salts!!! Since when do homeless people use them? A young mother walking her baby could have been bit also. THE CABAL will have a lot to answer for when the s**t hits the fan.

its a good idea but I dont think so

you know... this has been going on for a LONG time.. its just since that one guy chewed off that others guys face now people are freaked..

people do strange stuff this is not new

A violent attack in Scott is eerily similar to a case out of Florida connected to the dangerous drug known as bath salts.

The disturbing attack in Florida ended when police shot and killed the suspect after he would not stop biting and chewing at another man's face.

Now, a similar case over the weekend in Lafayette Parish.

"During the attack, the suspect bit a chunk of the victim's face off," said Scott Assistant Police Chief, Kert Thomas.

Police say 43-year-old Carl Jacquneaux knew the victim, Todd Credeur, and was upset over a domestic issue. Credeur declined an on-camera interview, but told KATC he was working in his front yard when Jacquneaux showed up at his house and attacked him. An article appeared in 'SpiegelOnLine' regarding these creatures, considered by some as the 'frankensteins' of the insect world.

Despite the Cayman PR debacle, Oxitec is moving forward undeterred. The yellow-fever mosquitoes from Milton Park have since been released in Malaysia. More trials are planned for inhabited areas there, because that's where yellow-fever mosquitoes thrive. They specialize in feeding on humans.

The genetically-modified creatures are also currently buzzing around near the city of Juazeiro in eastern Brazil. Mosquitoes are due to be released in other dengue-plagued countries too, including Panama, India, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. They could also soon turn up in Key West, Florida as early as March; preparations there are underway.

Could the outcome of this share a similar fate to the 'Cane' toads of Australia - they too were considered a 'great idea' and look what happened there, and they weren't even genetically modified!

Except the toads don't feed on human blood. :scary:
