All are welcome to read and comment, but if you are offended, just move on. The title alone should give you cause to not get yourself all worked up. Mods, I believe I have adequately covered my basis as far as this thread is concerned.
As the day of celebration for our Lord's Resurrection is upon us, I just wanted to reach out to the few thick-skinned brothers and sisters in Christ who manage to stomach DTV, and even go so far as to try and share some of the joy they hold in their hearts. In the past six weeks or so, the attacks against all spiritual belief, but particularly the Christian faith have stepped up exponentially. The claim is that the site is becoming infested with religious whack-jobs. I can't say I agree. In reality, I would say that there are far more anti-religious threads than any bombardment of 'join my religion' threads. Anyway, these attacks should come as no surprise to most of you, as the Bible was clear that these would take place right before the Lord returns. And to the nay-sayers, fifty years ago you would be hard pressed to find even two people willing to openly slam Jesus or any religion publicly the way the current "enlightened" generation does on a daily basis. With that in mind, I just wanted to offer some words of encouragement and comraderie as the days will soon grow darker.
Brethren, we are truly blessed!!! We are living in a time when God has made faith in Himself and the risen Jesus easier than ever before! Not since the disciples walked with Jesus witnessing miracles, or Paul met Him on the road to Damascus, has God sent so many signs and prophetic fulfillments to a sleepy world to declare His existence. These same attacks spoken of above are particularly one of those glaringly obvious signs pointing to the lateness of the hour. Let us all be thankful to Him that for most of us these childish slams of are faith are the extent of persecution we now, or HOPEFULLY will ever face. And let us not forget the true battles of faith being fought by our brethren in the middle east, China, and Africa, where thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of Christians are martyred every year. The whole brainwashed theory just doesn't quite hold water when compared to a middle aged, Holy Spirit filled, African tribesman who never attended catholic school, or who's family never forced them to go to church their whole life, yet is willing to lay down his life because his soul knows he has touched, and been touched by the Truth. Praise God!
Well as some of you may have noticed, most main stream Christian media is refusing to comment on some of the current events taking place, with a few exceptions. They are either very complacent with the ongoing properity gospel, or unwilling to endure the ridicule from secularists and main stream media for recognizing the signs of the times. The unrest in the middle east, the massive animal die offs, the lights in the skies, all foretold to take place in increasing numbers as the time draws near. My friends, it is time to begin strengthening your convictions. Though some may want to stifle you voices, let them be heard.
Ephesians 4:15 (New International Version, ©2011)
15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.
I believe now is the time to gently, but insistently share the love of Jesus with those friends and family members who have been putting off a decision for Christ. I am not a theologian, a scholar, or a pastor, but my studies are leading me to the conclusion that the Rapture of the church is going to be a very real event, before the tribulation. I have come to this conclusion based upon three points of evidence.
1.) Besides the popular rapture verses from Paul, the ones that I find most compelling are:
Luke 21:36
"Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man." This implies that those who believe will not have to endure the tribulation.
John 14
The Way, the Truth, and the Life
1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions;[a] if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.[b] 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.” The Bible says that Christians will rule and reign with Christ on earth for 1000 years; why would we need places prepared for us if we were just going to meet the Lord in the air, and immediately return to the earth? i will cover my thoughts on those mansions below.
Isaiah 26:19-21
19 But your dead will live, LORD;
their bodies will rise—
let those who dwell in the dust
wake up and shout for joy—
your dew is like the dew of the morning;
the earth will give birth to her dead.
20 Go, my people, enter your rooms
and shut the doors behind you;
hide yourselves for a little while
until his wrath has passed by.
21 See, the LORD is coming out of his dwelling
to punish the people of the earth for their sins.
The earth will disclose the blood shed on it;
the earth will conceal its slain no longer.
This is one of the strongest and rarest verses in the old testament, which I believe is a direct reference to the rapture. The tribulation is God's wrath poured out on the earth, these rooms spoken of by Isaiah, are the mansions spoken of by Jesus, in my view.
2.) The Church is called the bride of Christ, and He the Bridegroom. You all should be familiar with the parable of the ten virgins, where the bridegroom comes at night taking five into the wedding feast. In ancient Hebrew wedding tradition, the potential bridegroom would ask the potential bride's father for her in marriage. If both the father and the bride agreed , the potential couple would seal the covenant with a drink of wine. Then the bridegroom would return to his place, for an unspecified period of time. He would then return for his bride, and the wedding feast would last for seven days. 7 days of the wedding banquet, 7 years of tribulation upon the earth. 3.) The rapture has precedent throughout God's Word. He sealed up noah and fam before the flood. He rescued Lot and fam before the judgements of Sodom and Gomorrah. Both Elijah, and Enoch were spirited away to heaven with out tasting death.
Oh yeah, and as a side note, I have studied some of the messages that the channelers have purportedly received from the 'ascended masters' or 'space brothers', and even they claim that some time in the near future many people will disappear from the face of the earth. I take those messages with a grain of salt however.
Be patient, but be ready and as Jesus commanded...WATCH!!
Well, I know I am not the most inspirational writer, but I hope this message finds you all in good cheer. The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is the single most important event in the history of the human race, cherish it. For without it all would still be lost. P.S., and as the onslaught on Christian faith continues to intensify, and the peanut galleries of the masses slam you for your'gullibleness', do not take offense, pray for your detractors. You will notice that these same bashers avoid all threads of Biblical proof like the plague. (see below) The same folks who make insulting and downright blasphemous remarks, who call you brainwashed and Christianity a control system created by the Romans, are nowhere to be found in threads on the mathematical code within the Bible, fulfilled prophecies, or manuscript authenticity and age. So ask yourselves, "Who's realy brainwashed?" I know I don't have all the answers, but I'm willing to be wrong to truly seek out the truth.

If the story in the bible is true, please explain this to me.
If Jesus knew that after he gave his life that he would go to heaven and live in paradise forever, how is this such a great sacrifice? Shouldn't burning in hell for all of humanity's sin be a sacrifice?
And why are all of the accounts of the resurrection so different? 3 days of darkness? No record in the world of such an event happening. The dead rose from the graves? It is stated in 2 of the accounts....but not others...

If you mean the darkness that occurs right before the sign of Christ appears in the heavens, I hope you aren't here to witness it. If you mean that which occurred as a plague on Egypt, they didn't even record how or who built the pyramids so that is a weak point. And the dead shall arise from the grave at the appointed time.

Many have been looking all over the middle east for the Garden of Eden. According to the bible , the story of Adam and Eve are supposed to be the very first persons on the planet. Then why are they still looking in middle east when the oldest place on earth was Lemuria in the Pacific Ocean.
Also if you continue reading in the bible about the Garden of Eden, you will see that Adam and Eve had children and apparently this is how they started to populate the planet. If we examine this "fact" from the bible, at some point, this subject points to a very controversial subject that the Christians and Catholics do not dare to talk about. Somehow the Vatican is very quiet on this. Why ?
Also at the beginning of the bible they are stating names of people and their age. Some of those are over 500 years old. Why the Christians say its not years but something else?
Why the book of Judas was never included in the bible ?
