French Police filmed dragging African women & taking their babies during protest

They had been living in tents since being evicted from their council homes earlier this month. In France, rights groups plan to file a complaint about police brutality, after a video surfaced showing officers using excessive force to evict African immigrants from a Paris suburb.
The footage shows police dragging away women with their babies as well as young children.
The group of 60 people had been living in the streets since being evicted from their council homes earlier this month.
The group of mostly women and children had been ordered to move to make way for a new housing project.
The footage shows a screaming woman with a baby wrapped to her back being dragged along the pavement. Another scene shows a pregnant woman lying on her back on the street.
According to France 24 the footage was recorded on July 21 by an observer from the Droit au Logement (Right to Housing) association and uploaded on the internet by French news site Mediapart and broadcast by CNN on Tuesday.
Most of the immigrants are from the Ivory Coast. Some of them had been living in France for ten years and were not illegal immigrants.

If the French police think this is acceptable behaviour, then they have become moronic monsters... :hell:

Police arrived in the north-east Parisian suburb of La Courneuve last Wednesday and asked a group of about 60 mostly women and children to move, said Michael Hajdenberg, a journalist with the French media organization Mediapart.

The group had been living in the street since being evicted from their council homes on July 8 to make way for a new housing project, he said.

When the group failed to respond to the request, Hajdenberg said police officers forcibly removed them.

Authorities had offered to accommodate them for a short period in hotels, but Hajdenberg said the immigrants wanted more of a long-term guarantee of places to live.

The video shows police dragging away women with babies and young children. In one scene a woman with a baby wrapped to her back is dragged along the pavement while screaming and shouting.

Another scene shows what appears to be a pregnant woman lying on her back on the street. Police can also be seen carrying women away while children and babies are screaming.

The incident lasted about 30 minutes said Hajdenberg, who added that “there were no serious injuries, mostly cuts and scrapes.”

The immigrants are mostly from the Ivory Coast, said Michael Hoare, a spokesman for the campaign group Right to Housing.

"Most of them have been in France for between 3 to 10 years".

Wow, this is sick! :yell: All of those police officers should lose their jobs for terrorizing women and children, who had no fucking place to go, because of some bullshit housing corporation (most likely) that was just evicting them, some of whom had lived there for more than 10 years and were legal immigrants! When the people who are supposed to be protecting and serving are doing crap like this, you know things have gone haywire. What a mad world we live in... :ohno:

Its shit like this that the system creates and generates on a daily basis, and far worse. I can't see how sheeple want to defend what they have. They aren't even sheeple, the Elite have them trained as sheep dogs, culling the ones smart enough to speak out against them...

Fuck the system! :ohno: :yell: :hell: :ohno:

Edit: Great find Astroboy777!

We need to expose things like this so people can expect to see it when it happens, and know how to react intelligently! People need to try and intercede, ask the officers to see what they're doing, how they're acting. Ask them if they honestly think what they're doing is right. Because on a soul level, we are all the same individuals, but experiencing life differently. It would be hard to be a cop and go against your orders and possibly lose your job. But if someone stood out against them, it would take some of the burden off of the officer and even other people watching. Maybe allow them to act more freely, i dunno...

Anyways, I lost steam hehe. :badair: I'm going to bed...

Again, good post! :flop:

Well put, madgremlin! I concur with your comment. We need to fight this kind of injustice with intelligent reason... You cannot defend this kind of action taken by the police as acceptable, otherwise it will only tell them they are free to do it again, and worse! There must be repercussions for the officers, and their superiors. If terrorizing woman & children can be acceptable, then what's left?... :headscratch:
