That said, maybe now we won't have to keep hearing about the overrated contributions and outright myths of the "French Resistance Movement."

Just one of the many ways the de Gaulle regime and Francophiles of all stripes around the world attempted to save face considering the well-known fact that, despite being a superpower at the time, France totally failed to put up a fight during WWII.

The government bent and recieved but many of the so called ordinary people (not so ordinary) fought bravely for their right to be free from the nazis and couragoeously lost their lives doing so.....
