I am a westerner, always have been always will be, and proud to be so. However, when will we learn to get our noses out of other people’s business?

I never could understand what the hell we were doing in Libya. So they had a dictator, so what? By that logic we should expect our governments to be scheming, planning and growing the balls to go after the other dictatorships, North Korea and China come to mind, oh wait, no people being oppressed in those nations right? Oh and yes, they are a little bigger to deal with than the likes of these Arab countries with second rate forces.

We can’t even solve the issue of homelessness, poor medical/health services, unemployment and the like in our own countries and yet we feel we can somehow go in guns blazing and solve the issues of a populace that doesn’t understand what we are about, nor do they care. Blood is thicker than water and sooner or later these actions will come back and bite us in the ass, just like a new car smell the smell of western assistance will be forgotten and the people will revert back to old cultural habits.
