gas pipeline in egypt that supplies jordan and isrel just bombed

Pipeline bombed and Omar Suleiman allegedly wanted to kill in Egypt

Unknown blew up a gas pipeline in northern Sinai in Egypt near the town of El Arish near the border with "Israel", said on Saturday the Egyptian national television. Currently the gas pipeline is burning at the explosion site.

According to the television, the explosion has been carried out "by the terrorists who took advantage of the unstable security situation in the country".

The gas pipeline in the Sinai Peninsula, is intended, including supplement of gas to "Israel".

The gas supply through the pipeline that was blown up by unknown on Saturday in northern Sinai in Egypt near the town of El Arish near the border with "Israel", is suspended, provincial governor of North Sinai told Egyptian national television.

According to him, fire brigades are currently working in the area of explosion. The governor also said that the gas station, located near the site of the explosion, was not damaged. The explosion did not affect the residential quarters as well, located in close proximity. Authorities allege that the explosion has been carried out by saboteurs.

Currently, the proven gas reserves in Egypt are 1.89 trillion cubic meters. Export of Egyptian gas today is carried out both by pipeline and in liquefied form (LNG). Egypt ranked sixth in the world in export volumes of LNG.

Meanwhile, the Egyptian authorities also reported that the ex-intelligence chief and now vice-president of Egypt Omar Suleiman was allegedly assassinated. It is claimed that his motorcade was attacked and Suleiman's 2 guards were killed. No details at the same time are given. There is also no information given regarding how it's happened.

To be mentioned the explosion of a gas pipeline and information about the alleged assassination attempt on Omar Suleiman could actually be a PR-action of the Cairo regime.

Meanwhile, protests are continuing taking place on the Tahrir Square in Cairo. Tens of thousands of people remain in the city center. According to some reports demonstrations and rallies can be perpetual. As reporters were told by one of the protesters, demonstrators intend to hold large demonstrations on Tuesdays and Fridays. In the rest of the week thousands of opposition activists will be on duty on the square.

It is to be recalled that last Friday was declared a Day of Departure of Mubarak. Up to 2 million people had gathered on the Tahrir Square. Despite the demands of the people, Mubarak refused to step down.

It is to be noted also that on Friday the former head of the IAEA, ElBaradei, said he intends to run for the presidency of Egypt.

ElBaradei's name has been circulated by opposition groups since 2009 as a possible candidate to succeed President Hosni Mubarak in Egypt's highest executive position.[59][60][61]

ElBaradei did not make any clear statements regarding his intentions to run for the office; however, he has demanded that certain conditions have to be met to ensure fair elections accompanied by changes to the constitution that will allow more freedom for independent candidates before he would actually consider running for presidency. Several opposition groups and parties have endorsed him, considering him a neutral figure who could transition the country to greater democracy.

On 24 February 2010, ElBaradei met with several opposition leaders and notable intellectuals at his home in Cairo. The meeting was concluded with an announcement for the formation of a new non-party-political movement called "National Association for Change". The movement aims for general reforms in the political scene and mainly article 76 of the Egyptian constitution, which places restrictions on true free presidential elections, especially when it comes to independent candidates. The banned political group the Muslim Brotherhood were represented by one of their key figures who attended the meeting; however, their stand in accepting a non-member of their group as a candidate is yet unclear. It is also unknown whether Amr Moussa, the head of the Arab League who met with ElBaradei a day earlier, will be part of the new movement.[62]

Government Document Captured from Egyptian Thugs
By wmw_admin on February 5, 2011

Kawther Salem – February 3, 2011

Below is a scanned copy of an official document, Circular No. 60 / b / M, issued by the Office of the Egyptian Interior Minister Habib al-Adli. The document bears the emblem of the Egyptian Interior Ministry; a handwritten note is written on the top-left of page 1, it reads “send by fax to the centers – highly secret”. The document could have been captured from a ransacked government office, or from a hooligan captured on the streets. It has in the meantime been widely spread in Arabic media.

English translation appear below
The document landed today morning in my inbox. It was sent to me by an Egyptian source, it reveals that the Egyptian Interior Ministry has implemented a plan to create chaos and looting, violence and terror in response to the angry demonstrations since last Friday, and the days after, which seek the end of the Mubarak regime, (and now also seek the execution of Mubarak after he refused to leave his position in peace and his regime perpetrated bloody crimes and massacres against the opposition demos). The document shows part of a plan which targets the nation, attempts to instill fear in the demonstrators and force them to end their demos.

The document was issued by the Office of the Egyptian Interior Minister and states that the plan detailed is based on the deployment of criminal elements in the middle of demonstrators, to foment chaos in conjunction with the deliberate withdrawal of the police and security forces from the streets of all cities.

The document reveals that among the activities of the plan is the intensive spreading of rumors through the Egyptian media (official TV, radio, news), like the use of screaming and wailing of female elements of the security forces, showing them asking for help because of looting and the decline of security.

The document also shows as part of the plan the cutting off of Internet connections and communications, the insinuation in the official media that the Police and the security forces are incapable of protecting the people during the protests, the insinuation that the people should protect themselves through the formation of popular committees to maintain security in the absence of bodies in charge of security.

What this document contains, if it is true, shows the shocking depravity of a regime determined to keep their hold on power by any means. It shows in full the disdain of the Mubarak regime for the Egyptian people, not unlike the attitude of the PA towards the Palestinian people, it shows the inner workings of a regime kept afloat by the western regimes for over 30 years who knew full well and approved of the thuggery of Mubarak against his people. As a side note, according to sources, solidarity demonstrations in the West Bank were ended violently and the organizers arrested by the Palestinian Authority.

This document could be a hint to cooperation of the Mubarak regime with israeli and/or American elements such as Frank Wisner. The presence of Wisner in Egypt is a very bad sign in any case, as he hails from a family of zionist jews with a long history of involvement in terrorism and other atrocities around the world. He is certainly no friend of the Egyptian people. The tactics detailed in the document resemble some of the dirty tricks used by the occupation against Palestinians.

I have added below a summary translation of the document from Arabic. If you have a better translation, please send it.

Text of the document:

Ministry of the Interior:

Minister’s Office

Circular No. 60 / B / M

Secret and very important (written by hand)

Topic: Plan to address the mass demonstrations

1 – Allowing the demonstrations to pass in the streets of cities and villages of the country since today, without objection, and to exercise extreme caution while shooting the live, rubber bullets and the tear gas. This must be done according to the competent jurisdiction mentioned in the table sent to you.

2- To employ a number of (thugs, criminals, bullies) and to pay them well after meeting them at their homes in private and at gathering places by authorized elements, without official mission status and to explain to them the deployment plans according to the attached table of the sites entitled to -1- and tell them about the times of their movement and the plan to create scalable chaos mentioned in the statement.

3 – Controlling individuals, parties, organizations through coordination with printing and publishing houses and communication facilities; keeping a complete record of incoming and outgoing messages and calls and analyzing its content by writing reports about the each case since the information is received.

4 – We will cut the communications (Mobile – Internet) services from 6 AM on Friday, 28 1 2011; we will keep the landlines in service. All our officers and elements must be ready to use wireless communications devices, and to be sure that they are able to use encryption devices.

5 – The plan of the deployment of police, detectives and secret service personnel will be in civilian clothes, according to the annex entitled B-2.

6 – The demonstrations of Friday 28 01 2011 must be held in public squares and other central locations. The events must be stopped from access to the areas on alert, according to the attached map entitled 3.

7 – To make sure to arm the elements in civilian clothes with wooden sticks, small iron pieces for use during arrests of the main elements and the leaders of the demonstrations, without showing any violence.

8 – Firing rubber bullets and tear gas but without using live bullets, which are only allowed by alarm and only if absolutely necessary.

9 – Show partial disability from 4 PM on Friday, which shows that the police force is unable to guarantee security, and show the superiority of the demonstrators, while allowing the infiltration of elements of item 2 (thugs and criminals) to cause limited chaos during the demonstrations and according to the plan agreed with them before that.

10 – A full withdrawal of police, the central security forces, the traffic police and reassigning them to guard and protect government sites and institutions … wearing civilian clothes; and to be present on side roads and “around trees” and to engagement between the lines of the organizers of the demonstrations and in the parking lots without interfering in any negative phenomena and without revealing their identities or interfering in the street movements until they receive orders to do so …

11 – Emptying the police stations of weapons, ammunition and prisoners and transferring all to the central prison and place them under heavy guard; sending specials forces, private security elements, collaborators and secret service elements to jail instead of them. (Comment: so that they will be freed instead of the original prisoners).

12 – Broadcasting rumors through all media about acts of looting and theft; this will be accomplished by placing by our female elements at different locations, near the foreign media, who will cry and tell about strong panic. The rumors spread will be according to the plan of spreading rumors attached to you.

13 – Broadcast direct messages through individuals or indirect messages distributed through leaflets to the foreign media located near the events about of acts of looting and breaking into banks, shops and police stations to coincide with the deployment of the bully plan mentioned in item 2, in order to spread the impression a state of general panic and terror in the streets and to show that there is civil and popular demand for the presence of police, military, public security organs in these locations.

14 – Issuing direct and indirect hints through national and foreign media about the formation of committees to protect the popular neighborhoods in order to cause members of the demonstrations to go away or to their sites without the need of imposition of any force by the army on them.

15 – Spreading false rumors and false information through all means, through foreign media stations only, and then correcting that information through local media stations, in order to gain the confidence of the public and divert the attention from these stations and so discredit them in all incoming calls to the local media stations.

16 – Broadcasting strong rumors through the national and foreign media about the existence of chaos and the escape of prisoners and stating a fake big number of the prisoners who escaped, specially of dangerous prisoners, and claiming that those dangerous prisoners have been seen within residential areas.

17 – Calling upon all people across the media to format popular committees to watch day and night to protect the living. The calls must be send through the voices of women, members of the security as was agreed in the meeting with you earlier.

18 – Following the situation on the ground by the security forces who will find out the approximate number of opposition elements and demonstrators, according to item 2.

19 – Extensive contacts and personal calls to all media which show that the presence of people’s committees for the protection of neighborhoods, residential and commercial areas make things better.

20 – Start gradually showing solidarity with the regime and the leadership by raising signs of support for them at the right time, according to the plan.

Exposed: Obama’s Duplicity in Egypt
By Christopher Bollyn on January 31, 2011

Christopher Bollyn – February 6, 2011, 2011

The mask has slipped badly from the two-faced U.S. administration. I have been reporting on the duplicity of the U.S. policy since January 31 when President Obama sent a high-level C.I.A. man as personal envoy to Egypt. The envoy’s father was Frank Wisner Sr., the C.I.A. chief behind the overthrow of presidents in Iran and Guatemala. Frank Wisner Jr., Obama’s personal envoy to Egypt, openly admitted on February 5 that he supported the Mubarak dictatorship staying in power – while Obama was been telling the world that he wanted immediate change. Such blatant duplicity reveals the real character of the Obama administration.

“What is clear — and what I indicated tonight to President Mubarak — is my belief that an orderly transition must be meaningful, it must be peaceful, and it must begin now.” – President Obama, 2 February 2011

“I’m extremely concerned, I mean this is yet another symptom, or another indication, of a criminal regime using criminal acts. My fear is that it will turn into a bloodbath.”
- Mohamed ElBaradei, Egyptian opposition leader

“To the people of Egypt, particularly the young people of Egypt, I want to be clear: We hear your voices. I have an unyielding belief that you will determine your own destiny and seize the promise of a better future for your children and your grandchildren.”
- U.S. President Barack Obama, 1 February 2011

February 1 – Mubarak speaks on national television saying he will step down on – in September… while Obama says Egypt’s change of leaders must start immediately. “The status quo is not sustainable,” Obama said in comments given after Mubarak’s speech. “An orderly transition must be meaningful, it must be peaceful, and it must begin now,” Obama said. The Egyptian dictator has been America’s most reliable (read pro-Israel) ally in the Middle East for 30 years. Mubarak has blocked much-needed relief from reaching the besieged Palestinians of Gaza, who share a mostly closed border with Egypt. Photo – Barack Obama and Hosni Mubarak at the White House, 1 September 2010.

Mubarak has appointed his intelligence chief, C.I.A. “partner” Omar Suleiman, as vice president. Suleiman is clearly the man who the C.I.A. hopes will replace Mubarak. A senior U.S. intelligence official described Suleiman as deeply involved in every aspect of the diplomatic relationship between the two countries, as well as a C.I.A. partner in sensitive programs, including transfers and interrogations (read kidnap and torture) of prisoners captured in counterterrorism operations. As the C.I.A. point man in Egypt, Suleiman meets often Israeli leaders. Here he shakes hands with Ehud Barak, the war criminal who killed 1,400 civilians in Gaza as Barack Obama became president in January 2009. At the time, Obama said he would have plenty to say about Israeli war crimes in Gaza – but has said nothing ever since.

President Barack Obama sent Frank Wisner of the C.I.A. (Vice Chairman of A.I.G. and director of Enron) to Egypt on January 31 to advise the besieged dictator Hosni Mubarak, who is quickly losing control of the nation. Shortly after Obama’s “special envoy” arrived in Cairo, broadcasting equipment was confiscated from foreign journalists (including the BBC) and all roads and rail links to the capital were cut. This is a very dangerous game and reveals the two-faced nature of the Zionist-controlled Obama administration. While Obama talks about supporting “democratic change”, he sends a “dirty tricks” man in a last-ditch effort to prevent the U.S.-funded dictatorship from falling. This desperate and deceitful action by the Obama administration can only harm future relations with Egypt.

The uprising in Tunisia has spread to Egypt, the most populous and important nation of the Arab world. Massive protests with tens of thousands of people have also broken out in Yemen. Having followed the developments in Tunisia closely on the BBC World Service, I noticed an attitude of unusual concern by the BBC toward the popular uprising that overthrew the Tunisian dictator Ben Ali. When similar uprisings have happened in Eastern Europe or the former Soviet Union they have invariably been praised and promoted as a sign of the progress of western democracy. This supportive attitude, however, was not seen in the BBC coverage uprising in Tunisia. The first question asked (with some concern) of every commentator was always, “Will the unrest in Tunisia spread to Egypt and other Arab nations?”

Ehud Olmert and President Mubarak
One got the distinct impression that the BBC is somehow afraid of democracy in the Arab world. Their attitude seems to be that the people of the Middle East do not have the same right to demand democratic governments as the people of Europe. Decades of U.S. (and British) support for dictators like Ben Ali and Hosni Mubarak and the refusal of the U.S. and the “international community” to accept the democratically elected Hamas government of Palestine are proof (if any were needed) that the U.S. government does not really support democracy in the Arab world. Dictators are, after all, so much easier to control. Having fostered and supported virtually every dictator in the Middle East, the U.S. regime now finds itself wrong-footed and in an increasingly weakened position in the region. These popular uprisings will have profound consequences on U.S. stature and policies in the region.

The overthrow of the Mubarak dictatorship puts Israel in “a state of strategic distress”, according to Aluf Benn of Ha’aretz: “The fading power of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak’s government leaves Israel in a state of strategic distress. Without Mubarak, Israel is left with almost no friends in the Middle East; last year, Israel saw its alliance with Turkey collapse.” Israel’s strategic distress at the possibility of a democratic Egypt emerging from the overthrow of Mubarak led the Zionist-controlled Obama administration to take desperate and deceitful measures to support the dictatorship the U.S. has funded with billions of dollars every year – for 30 years.

The Obama administration sent Frank Gardiner Wisner 2nd, the son of one of the founders of the C.I.A.’s propaganda and special operations branch to control the critical situation in Egypt. In 1947-48, Frank Wisner Sr. established the C.I.A.’s Operation Mockingbird, a program to influence the domestic and foreign media. “By the early 1950s, Wisner ‘owned’ respected members of The New York Times, Newsweek, CBS and other communications vehicles,” Deborah Davis wrote in her 1979 book entitled, Katharine the Great: Katharine Graham and The Washington Post.

Sending Wisner Junior to Egypt indicates that the United States is engaged in a dangerous and dirty operation against the Egyptian protestors, who massed in Cairo’s Tahrir Square on February 1. If the U.S.-backed dictatorship resorts to violence, as it did with the orchestrated attacks on the protestors by men on horseback, the U.S. will be seen as responsible because it sent Wisner, a veteran “dirty tricks” agent with a long history of counter-revolutionary actions.

Wisner reportedly left the country the day after Mubarak sent hordes of paid thugs and plain-clothes police into the square to attack the peaceful protestors with Molotov cocktails and weapons. It is not believable that Mubark would take such drastic actions against the wishes of Obama’s special envoy. The controlled media has reported that Obama sent Wisner to Cairo to urge Mubarak to step aside, but that is clearly false. Wisner’s arrival coincided with a pronounced change in tactics against the protestors. The crack down tactics advised by Wisner culminated in the violent attacks against the protestors in Tahrir Square and other places on February 2. When we consider that the United States is controlled by a highly deceitful and criminal regime, which is actually protecting the real culprits of the terrorist attacks of 9/11, we can understand that the U.S. government shares the same criminal nature as those it supports in Egypt and Israel. As Jesus said, “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”

Wisner’s father became the head of the C.I.A.’s Directorate of Plans (DPP) in 1952 and Richard Helms was his chief of operations. The DPP, formed by the merger of the Office of Policy Coordination and the Office of Special Operations (the espionage division) accounted for three quarters of the C.I.A. budget and 60 percent of its personnel. In the early 1950s, Wisner orchestrated the overthrow of Mohammed Mossadegh in Iran and Jacobo Arbenz in Guatemala.

This is a very dangerous move because it shows that the Obama White House is pursuing a two-faced policy of trying to keep Mubarak in power while it pretends to be supporting democratic change in Egypt. Shortly after Wisner arrived in Cairo the Egyptian authorities began confiscating broadcasting equipment from foreign journalists, including the BBC – on arrival at the airport. As millions of Egyptians prepared for a huge rally in Cairo’s Tahrir Square on February 1, roads and rail links to Cairo were cut. These actions were clearly being taken on orders given by Wisner. This shows that the United States has actually been working to support the Mubarak dictatorship in the face of massive protests by the Egyptian people. This is an extremely ill-advised and dangerous game to be playing while the Obama administration pretends to support “democratic change.”

Frank Gardiner Wisner was on Enron’s board of directors since 1997 and was Vice Chairman of Maurice Greenberg’s fraudulent American International Group (A.I.G.) through 2009, after A.I.G. had received hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars to support its criminal enterprise. Both Enron and A.I.G. were engaged in criminal fraud operations that cost the U.S. taxpayer dearly. Wisner has also been involved in C.I.A. activity since the early years of the Vietnam War.
