I went in one with my father when I was a child (that was back when I lived in Fort Knox, so I must have been in 5th-6th grade) but it was way more secured looking then the one in this series. Still, to enter we had to go waaaaaaaaaaaay down an elevator shaft, then got into little carts on railroad ties and went deep into the mine. That was before I was old enough to fully embrace my paranoia and claustrophobia, I mean, if dad was with me, nothing could go wrong, right?

Interesting thing about this is the miners fear of "tommy-knockers" which are a sort of earth element superstition that manifests as a ghost and warns people to get out of the mines, also the part about red-headed woman especially being bad luck in mines.

What is cool is that they have installed cameras all down into the mine so they can watch the guys work without being under them and making them paranoid.

people who say its all staged are stupid and are not debunkers so they can get fuked..

theres alot of Mason Illuminati shit going down.....theres 1 hidden passage inside the mine and they just discovered a 2nd entire mine that was covered up in the same area?! 2 ghost mines!

the last crew were scared off and now the same is happening to this crew....it seems like the masons have something to do with it....what the masons did or discoverd could be a world of shit or just george bush trying his best to scare them off the gold......

what would masons do with all that gold?? would they sell it or create a golden CITY UNDERGROUND>>!

I generally hate these kinds of reality shows, but you guys all raved about it so much that my curiosity got the best of me (The fact that there was a beautiful, intelligent, pale red headed woman involved didn't hurt). :love:

Watched the first episode and I was hooked. Watched the other 4 available episodes in the next 24 hours.

The history of the town is compelling, I even went and looked on google maps, you can still see the 8 mile long scar on the land from the dredge.

The only thing that pisses me off is that they add in music and sound effects in post production, which is retarded when the show revolves around the authenticity of "did you hear that?"; and they pretend the camera crew doesn't exist. If they didn't step on their own dick in those 2 completely unnecessary ways, they would have totally had me.

Still, I've been hanging out for today to arrive to see the conclusion to the story, checking TPB every few hours for that torrent to arrive. It seems like there's enough there that they could have stretched the series out to 7 or 8 episodes, but we'll see after the finale.

Thanks again for sharing, I never would have watched this in a million years if a handful of dvters hadn't vouched for its quality.

I recorded the last 2 episodes last night and can't wait to watch them tonight when I get home from work. So last night was 2 episodes, 2 hours to conclude the story.

It is very intriguing, it looks like they found a rich vein of gold in the second mine which they located from the hint of where the masons placed those boulders.

Also, I hope more is determined about what appears to be a huge wall in the back of the first mine, the one that had sounds, wind and EM pulses coming from it. It looked like it was almost a semicircular vault door (made from rock of course).

It's honestly one of the most intriguing stories and fascinating ghost shows I've ever seen. Also amazing is how their electronics will die on them out of the blue.
