Let there be 2 bullets, a plain one holding in hand and one in a pistol being shot.

Both bullets have same size and mass.

Both position is at 1m hight.

bullet 1 (hand) bullet 2 (shot)

I distance to the ground 1m

Both bullets are released at the same time.

Now tell me: which of the 2 bullets hits the ground first?

Then if the bullet was fired out of the gun, I would imagine the one dropped from the hand would hit the ground first. Given the rate of decent for the one fired would be over ridden by it's velocity and trajectory.

Are you saying that the rate they fall is tills the same. And that the fired bullet will hit the ground at the same time the one is dropped from the hand?
