Glaxo has been found guilty of these practices over the last 10 years. Look at the statistical jump in the use of phama over that same time.

In the U.S. prescriptions have increased over the past decade to 3.4 billion annually, a 61 percent increase. Retail sales of prescription drugs jumped 250 percent from $72 billion to $250 billion, Maher is correct in that we have to focus on being healthier through, diet, exercise & taking care of ourselves preventatively. As it currently sits we are certainly making Pfizer, Glaxo Smith Kline, & Merck very wealthy but we certainly are not any healthier
