glen beck is the right wing conspiracy nut steriotype that's designed to perform 2 functions.
1- Apeal to undereducated, paranoid right wing christian conspiracy types that respond to fear. then direct them against the democrats and liberals.
2- provide an association with crazy conspiracy theorists. When you identify yourself as a conspiracy theorist, or mention a conspiracy fact to the uninitiated. The subject will automatically attach you to his prior awareness of glen beck. 'Oh your one of those crazy people like glen beck' is the thought that automatically goes though the subconscious mind of the person, and then everything you say from that moment on is treated as the ravings of a madman.

At least those are primary objectives of that little psy-op
The fact that he's just a part of a larger right wing agenda to completely take over every aspect of your lives, while blaming the left, is just par for the course.
