the world is definitely getting warmer. Right now. But who is to say after this solar maximum that we will not experience massive cold fronts, ect?

I mean, a human being emits 11 tons of co2 daily, so 7 billion x 11 is 77 billion tons of carbon dioxide, daily. That is quite a lot.

Most of what the governments are trying to impose is because corporations use plastic3 and 5, styrofoam ect, and just want to make an extra buck to help them break it down. IMO, the manufactures should be responsible to a point, in the amount of garbage their products generate yearly, including the costs of what is needed to break down the materials they wish to use to make them. But who am I kidding, that's not going to happen.

Time for a new revolution guys.

Maybe the planet is warming up, maybe though this is all part of a cycle too long to be recorded...
Most of us have read and heard the reports and stories from various sides of the global warming debate.

What I personally DO NOT believe will solve any problem is the imposition of a new tax. All that will happen is that the average person will pay more for their goods and services, and then demand higher wages, situation neutral. No change to any supposed global warming.

On the other hand, IF there was truly a global warming crisis that would mean the end of the world as we know it, do you not think the governments would get together and say “right, tough measures need to be taken to prevent a global catastrophe”... so you either make the hard decisions or we all perish... I know what I would do... But this is not the case, the best the governments can do is raise taxes?????? To resolve a global issue of this supposed magnitude?

The cause, the effect and the proposed resolutions do NOT make sense to may, and therefore I am sceptical of it. If it is dire, TAKE the actions required on a global scale, but I doubt it is as dire as some purport. Just another revenue raising exercise and it smells of ‘henny penny’ to me. In millennia the human populace has not changed very much, we were sheeple then and guess what?? We are still so today. Don’t believe everything ‘they’ tell you, and don’t forget something even more important and often missed.... If the PTB are in control as many think, and if the governments cannot be trusted as many think, and if people in ‘high’ places are corruptible as many think.. why is this issue any different? If they want us to believe in global warming they will do everything they can to ensure we believe... so the bigger question... “who is calling the shots?”

My opinion... If it was dire we would know about it and would be taking greater more assertive action... raising taxes???? Give me a break.... What I think is that someone has just discovered a means to make us pay for the air we breathe, and we are being led to believe that we should.... just like we pay for bottled tap water.

Co2 is very good for trees, :flop:
though every day/month?(got the number from a doc.) 100 acres of rain forest are cleared
out?

C02 is bad for us, and bad for any blooded animal. At build up at least.
C02 also has an effect in the atmosphere as a green house gas, as it forms its layer denser and denser, it prevents other compounds from escaping or being broken down properly.

There are no trees in our poles though, so any massive build ups in Co2 there, is really potentially bad. Which is where we get things like ice burgs melting, creating a SUPER MASSIVE pocket of fresh water, in the oceans salt water. Which is very bad.

:peep:

Personally, I think it is part of the phase of the 13th baktun, since the sun is going crazy with activity, reflecting it upon us ect. And am in the boat with that after this baktun is finished, we will hit a solar minimum, and be stuck in a new ice age of sorts (if with out the ice/snow) if the sun went into a dormant state which we have not seen in 5000 years, its almost impossible to predict what is going to happen. Other than with references from past scriptures, which mostly tell us that they got fucked up going through the same phase. :peep:

Where do you get the figure that a person emits 11 tons of co2 per day? As the actual figure is around 1.036kg per day. The average amount a person emits per year is 378kg of co2.

Why the hell are we not using plantation timbers these days? Why do we continue to clear our rainforests? If you want a new crusade, this is it... there is no doubt that deforestation and polution is causing negative side effects.. no doubt. These are the real issues to be resolved....

I guess I was wrong on that one, I remember pulling it up for an article here on dtv somewhere, but yeah, the C02 emissions of people is around 1kg(2.3 lb) per day.
That is quite a lot. Something like 16.1 billion lb of co2 a day?
Think about it, with in 90 days, I just dispersed my weight in co2.

A volcano can emit this with in one big eruption.

And if the bible go lucky followers really think there shouldn't be more than 500 million people on the planet, this is a bigger issue to them, than trying to figure out how to control volcano eruptions.

co2 is a heavier than air gas if you check and as this is the case should collect at low levels the coasts?
and then absorbed by the sea that why you find high levels of co2 in the ice in the antartic and ice flows if levels where that bad you all fall aslepp in yer deck chairs on the beach (but then soom do seem a bit dopey at times) :dancing:
thats how they can find what happend 2000 years ag o along with other things
