Global warming Winter of 2009-2010 Could Be Worst in 25 Yea

Well just read stuff that says UK is same temperature as the South Pole and the entire land mass from Scandanavia right through to China, Korea and Japan is frozen and snow covered! Korea has worst snow since records began and Japan and China worst for 50 years! Perhaps it's time to revise those global warming models back into the 'New Ice Age' we were all warned about in the 70's!!! (as immortalised in Joy Division's 'Ice Age' 1979!)

Let's face it - they don't know what the fuck they're talking about when it comes to long term weather predictions - hell in the UK we were promised a 'sizzling barbecue summer' - it rained and was bloody freezing. We were then told it was gonna be one of the mildest winters for years - er, hello!! If they can't predict a few months ahead accurately how the hell can they tell us what's gonna happen in the next 50 years??!! :bullshit:

Horseshit , quit watching The Day After Tomorrow and understand CLIMATE CHANGE IS A NATURAL CYCLE AND HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HUMAN CO2 EMISSIONS.

Sorry for my tone there I get pretty wound up about this subject, but seriously if one more person tries to link this winter to global warming i will crack up i swear it

Did I mentontion CO2 emissions? I don't totally agree it is to do with carbon emissions, but I understand the world is warming up.

The climate change nuts have a world view shorter than their life span and seem to have the inability to think logically. It's all emotion, doom, and gloom. What these idiots don't seem to realize is that the forces that control global climate are much bigger than their puny minds can comprehend.

I am studying climate science at University, this is true in some circumstances but if you look at the graph of temperature change over the last 500 ma, the incline is alot steeper today than previously. I am open minded about global warming, as in it could be lots of possible answers to why its warming, (eg milankovitch cycle, sunspots, co2, an evil alien empire has decided to cook us in a microwave for tea etc.), but theres no denying its happening this moment in time. The majority don't want it to happen, so theyve decided its not happening.
