A comment from the telegraph which i could'nt agree more with
Bad science. Thats all GMO's are. Once released, they can not be put back and their effect on the "natural" enviroment are unkown and by the actions of the companies , they dont want it known.

Long term trials have not been done on any GMO food crop and yield results have not been what the promotors have claimed. Independent scientists have shown that GMO's should be stopped due to lack of prudent testing methods and lack of oversight by pro GM researchers and the regulating agencies.
The greed and corruption has spread to universities and others keen to get on the multi billion band wagon.

We can feed millions with the current food supplies by improving distribution. Also nutrient dense foods like blue green algae can be utilised.
