Graphic Warning Labels Hit Cigarette Packs.

This was done in Denmark some years ago in black and white text only, and it worked as intended, the tobacco companys made a pretty nice 20-25 % increase in profits and the State got alot more in taxes.

But remember it's not about the money,,,it's to protect you and make your life safer! :mrgreen:

Leave smokers alone. If they want to kill themselves more power to them! They should get free cigs, and no healthcare. Seems fair to me. Why should I pay for someones health care if they do not care about their health?

Dude69, everyone has a right to healthcare, it's a right, but you must be willing to pay for it.

the extension of life is a product of delaying the inevitability of universal death.

why should you have to pay for anyone's healthcare in the first place? should be for your family or individuals, but I suppose if you like Obama as you do......wait a minute you just pointed out on your own the problems with government run healthcare, and that is the very same reason why Universal healthcare is a crock of shit.... paying for others whom don't want to pay for themselves, people you don't even know or care about but we are supposed to act like a Michael Jackson video and heal the world, when others don't heal themselves (with their own hardwork and money)

They have a right to it, but not at the expense of others who care for their own health. At the very least Smokers should be put at the bottom of donated organ recipient lists.

Last I checked there was a waiting list for organs. Remember Mickey Mantel? killed 3 livers with booze before he croaked. I wonder if that cost anyone more 'worthy" of a liver their life? I guess we will never know.

We need a new era of accountability if we are going to succeed as a free society. So far we have taken no steps in that direction...one of Obamas true failures IMO..
