I really don't think palin will run on behalf of the tea party, but I like what she is doing, she is reaching a segment.
A little air between the ears - sure. I'm anxious to see who the contender will be. Cautiously optimistic.
If I had it my way, it would be Pat Buchanan.

If you lend someone 20 dollars and never see that person again, it's probably worth it.

There's a little Alaskan chic that stands against all of that.
Sure, she may have said North Korea - meaning south, but, Obama thinks we have 57 states in the country too.
So yea - Palin 2010.
Gah. Spock! Yeah, Obama is shady to the extreme, they are ALL shady to the extreme in my opinion including Bush the first and Bush the second. They all serve the same master I guess, they just use a different set of lies to get votes and act out a different agenda once they get the ball. But Palin....something about her just turns my stomach. I'll never be convinced that she didn't glom onto the Tea Party in order to discredit them with her very presence. She nauseates me on such a deep level that I could never vote for her. I didn't vote for Obama either, I didn't vote at all, that's how poor I felt my choices were in the last election, as I can't trust McCain either. I don't expect the next round to be much better. I don't think there is any two party system. I think they all work for the enemy.
Why not vote independent then? If you use the argument that an independent candidate couldn't win... then they never will.
The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible.

They weren't on my docket. North Carolina didn't allow independents on the ballot last election. I contemplated writing in Donald Duck but I didn't honestly feel it was worth a trip through the hellacious traffic just to exercise my right to sarcasm.
@Spock...I did a cartoon-style spit take when I read that about Pat Buchanan. Now I know you're fuckin with me, as Mr. T would say.

Yeah, I liked him. Or rather, I liked some of the things he said he stood for. Some others not so much, but at least politics had the illusion of being cleaner back then. Could have been because I was pretty young. I didn't like his VP, obviously, then or now.
Buchanan, though....what is it that you like about him?
