Thanks for the quotes... I heard one a while back... that seems to pop in my head over and over.... a lot... when I watch the news.... see what goes on with people... and this quote gets bantered about by a lot of people.... don't know the origin... but when I first heard it... was standing in line at checkout stand in market... the worker was talking to an acquaintance... and bemoaning the fact... she hadn't had a day off in weeks... got lousy pay... and no cooperation from other staff members... so... this acquaintance... who was standing in front of me... just taking in all that the girl had to say... finally replied with this precious line... and said it... in not so much of a commiserating type of way... but more... matter of factly... she said... "IT SUCKS TO BE YOU"...

somehow... I think this could apply to those poor souls in Afghanistan risking life and limb for Coca Cola, IBM, U.S. Steel, Shell Oil... not to mention... the international heroin trade...

And don't start on me all you haters... I respect the soldiers... it's the system that I have trouble with... sometimes... it sucks to be me too.

That's why we get recruited when were young, like myself at 18, had no clue to what was really going on and no real source of info besides the old t.v. and my old man, god bless him. Thanks to the Internet kids have access to many sources of info and can make more informed decisions, especially when it comes to joining the military.
