oil is not evaporating... oils molecules are much bigger, heavier than that of say waters...

the energies required to evaporate oils are much higher than that of water hence its high boiling point...

I'm not saying yur crop damage isn't related to the spill, but to say oil is evaporating is incorrect... most likely its being absorbed into the earth... slowly of course...

it will eventually break down and disappear but remember, thats goin to take ages...

dump a cup of oil on a tree trunk and tell me how long the stain will last.... A LONG TIME

First of all it is not all oil, it is also dispersants and many other nasties like petroleum bioproducts, heavy metals, sulpher dioxide, hydrogen sulphides. If fumes are gaging people inland in Florida, then particles are in the air, particles that are harmful if over 100 parts per billion like the hydrogen sulphides.

ok i dont know how true this is......
i was taking the piss out of two very close american friends of mine this morning, about the oil spill in the gulf of mexico.
i was ribbing them about how the us wants all the oil in the world.
then we got talking more seriouse about this oil and why its a orange base.
these two friends of mine work for the u.s gov. doing the things no one els wants to do, if you get just what kind of people im talkiing about....BLACK..BAG.Guys.
anyways they have said that in recent years that the u.s naval and airforce inteligence have had great intrest in this exact area for some years as the number of uso inccedents there.
and that the oil drilling was a front after tracking a uso with subs naval and airforce inteligence pinpointed it disserpearing right at that spot. sizmic graphs show that ether the earth opend up or some big underwater base door opend up. during this drilling op they think they may have breached some outer hatch chamber or some kind of chamber and the fact is the fluid in the water is of alien origen so people go get a sample and get it analised....

and also after this breach ufo activity has increased 100% in the area and thats why there is alot of unreported military and police activity going on......

well yea, oil and toxic chemicals will evaporate with the water and form clouds, these will drift over america and rain down this toxic shit.

All plants will die from it, who knows what kind of reactions animals will have to it, it will probably cause cancer with long exposure, and may even be toxic enough to cause death in some cases.

I hear this nuke option a lot but people have to realize a nuke does have the possibility to make this much worse.
