Guns and Ammo Worth more now or After Ban?

Will guns like AK 47 and AR-15 which are worth doubble what they were a year ago! When they are illegal will their value drop or go up.
What about Ammo?

One thing is for sure, the guns are currently worth more than what the police are giving in exchange in their buy back programs. $100 for handguns and shotguns and $200 for assault rifles. Unless these guns could be traced back to a crime, you would be stupid to let them go for those prices. And another thing, I don't believe for one second that the cops are just destroying these guns without doing ballistics tests to try and link them to crimes. They tell the people "no questions asked" , but I'm sure every transaction is documented on hidden video. Just my two cents...

I have a friend who was offered $4k for his bushmaster AR-15 which he paid under $900 for. I had a friend tell me they had a few AR-15's in at a shop here in town, raced over there and they were double their prices of about 6 months ago. 223 ammo is all gone, hi cap mags, you name it. I'm hoping manufactuers will step up the pace and have more available soon. Long story short, assult type rifles are GONE, hi cap mags gone and ammo from assult type rifles down are all gone. If you have any of the above, it's a seller's market.
Background checks use to take me 45 minutes...now they are 7 days. If you have been thinking of purchasing, get on it now. I have scoured the web and can find nothing available. It's kinda strange, they talk about banning certain/all guns and all that did was flood the market with sales! :shooting:
