CNN just covered this story. They are making it out to be a federal crime to hack FEMA's EAS.
Personally, I thought it was pretty funny.

Haha that was awesome, they should have said "This is an emergency broadcast" or something at the start to make it more realistic.

Still sick though.

@Dom hacking specific things takes a lot of skill, that's why its hard to go hack high priority targets like NASA or something, most hackers trawl through all sorts of crap and whatever they find that's vulnerable they play with, this time it was the emergency broadcast system.

Man if I'm not on some sort of watch list I'm not trying hard enough, Echelon twitches as we speak :scary:
