Okay, fair enough. But not that I know, but how much energy would be needed to do this?Were talking moving continental shelves and tectonic plates here. Anyone?

look at it like this man, we are talking ELF waves very low waves that travel, if you turned this up a bit it would sound like Bass from a sweet system.

it sounds unfathomable however look at it also like this, can you travel through your brick wall just by walking through it? I know I can't but sound waves can and if you have enough power to launch that through your wall it will explode, at that point it doesn't become a sound wave it becomes a pressure system of it's own and as long as you have enough power to move what you are trying to move or even just trying to vibrate it (especially on a weak fault line or known earthquake areas) we are talking major potential for damage.

I am not a scientist I can't tell you how much energy is required to push 1 miles or 7 miles of earth or even vibrate I won't even try to guess. but there are people that do know how much it would take and they say HAARP has the potential to do that and more if applied right.

I would assume that the frequency of the ELF wave would be more important than the power transmitted.
A low powered resonant frequency ELF wave focussed on a fault line would probably assist mother nature slightly.

lol. whats up shroom. oscillations is correct. so as above so as below. our central sun is feeling the pressure our solar sun is. all we're seeing here folks are cme bursts from it, and we're gonna see a lot more of them. i believe in harp, but i don't believe anybody's stupid enough to use it anymore than i believe there will be a full fledged thermo neuclear war. fact is, everybody know ya don't shit where ya eat. its too dangerous to cause high scale earthquakes on purpose. we barely know anything about this planet. i doubt anyone would do anything that would accidently break it and possibly kill themselves in the process. no one with the power to do so anyway.

why would there be nuclear war if they have weapons that don't have to leave the ground and can cause more damage and be more stealth ( because they don't have to leave the ground) than HAARP is?

why would several other countries put up this kind of technology and for what purpose?

to study the ionosphere (electric current globe)? where is there findings list of there research? why if it is a thing of study and not dangerous in any sense to anyone would the university of Alaska be working with the Air force, Navy and DARPA ( we all know that too well) to be be guarding it and making it a military installation?

I think you are putting the government on a nice guy soapbox on this one, I can say I don't agree with your outlook because they are using HAARP and it can be used for several applications, that would be like me getting a new car or computer and saying "no I am not going to test the balls on it!"

No one is launching HAARP on themselves, at least in this scenario they launched it on a 3rd world country, where VOODOO and magic still reigns supreme over common sense and democracy ( as much as I hate that word)...

You are right phoenix we don't know alot about this world, however you don't have to know alot about the world to dig a hole but yet you are still messing with the ground under you in hopes that you don't fall into a 400 foot deep cave that could be right below your feet, and that doesn't stop anyone from building foundations for homes, or building foundations for skyscrapers unless you attempt to build it. Then if you did find your cave you leave it alone.

if you read this here you can see they just didn't put all these antennas up and blast away at whatever they wanted, you can see they did it in baby steps to gain power and to get a feel for how much power they would need for research.... and how much power the Abuse needed to do what they needed.

1. The Developmental Prototype (DP) had 18 antenna elements, organized in three columns by six rows. It was fed with a total of 360 kilowatts (kW) combined transmitter output power. The DP transmitted just enough power for the most basic of ionospheric testing.
2. The Filled Developmental Prototype (FDP) had 48 antenna units arrayed in six columns by eight rows, with 960 kW of transmitter power. It was fairly comparable to other ionospheric heating facilities. This was used for a number of successful scientific experiments and ionospheric exploration campaigns over the years.
3. The Final IRI (FIRI) will be the final build of the IRI. It has 180 antenna units, organized in 15 columns by 12 rows, yielding a theoretical maximum gain of 31 dB. A total of 3.6 MW of transmitter power will feed it (roughly the power of a residential street block or office building), but the power is focused in the upward direction by the geometry of the large phased array of antennas which allow the antennas to work together in controlling the direction. As of March 2007[update], all the antennas were in place, the final phase was completed and the antenna array was undergoing testing aimed at fine-tuning its performance to comply with safety requirements required by regulatory agencies (LMAO YES THE MILITARY HAS REGULATIONS LOL). The facility officially began full operations in its final 3.6 MW status in the summer of 2007.

Even though it is wikipedia you can read the whole entry on wikipedia about HAARP and it's not even a conspiracy they tell you right on there that they can heat up the atmosphere, and that their studies are with High frequency waves and low frequency waves. the only thing I find hard to believe is the ammount of power that they are saying it can only produce..

once again I am not at bat for everything being done by Haarp, but this time it just seems to good to be true that we were this prepared ( with the parallel project).

I can't answer that but I hope someone can find out.
