Among the 20 compounds, which have been identified to date, 8-prenylnaringenin (hopein) appears to be the most intriguing compound with possible chemopreventive power:
·Inhibition of angiogenesis (formation of new blood vessels) = a possible inhibition of metastasis (spread of cancer from one organ to another part of the body).
Now, look at this (from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bevacizumab )
Bevacizumab (trade name Avastin, Genentech/Roche) is a humanized monoclonal antibody that recognizes and blocks vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A).[1] VEGF-A is a chemical signal that stimulates the growth of new blood vessels (angiogenesis).
Basically, beer and red wine are proven to do the similar thing as Bevacizumab .
Now, look at this (from the same wiki article) :
The addition of bevacizumab to standard treatment can prolong the lives of breast and lung cancer patients by several months, at a cost of $100,000 a year in the United States. [25] Costs in other countries vary; in Canada it is reported to cost $40,000 CAD per year. [26]
And compare it with the price of a pint of beer.
As a terminal stadium colon cancer survivor, treated with bevacizumab for more than 2 years, i found that in my case beer and red wine helped me at least as much as bevacizumab (avastin)
Believe or not, you can fight the NWO ( Roche Pharmaceutical Company) by drinking beer.
P.S.
I'm not bullshitting, but please be aware that cancer is as individual as someone's fingerprint, so something that helped me, may not help someone else.

Disclosing bullshitters since 1969.
