How do you begin to explain this. A mutation or what?

Nah there's no magic as such, just trickery and oddities.
Slight of hand?

It's not about getting there, it's what you get out of the journey
I agree there are people that can see colours through their ears. how strange is that. It's amazing how the body can adapt. It just goes to to demonstrate how adaptable the human frame is.
I question everything. I don't believe anything I'm told or anything I see. Prove it, or fuck off. And that's not me I see in the mirror in the morning.

Is a skill. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleight_of_hand Whilst it might appear 'magic', it's simply quick fingers and hands at work.
When I say 'no magic' I mean nobody can fly etc. It's all illusion. David Blane and Chris Angel included.

Certainly strange, moreso if you're not born with such a thing. If you woke up one morning and that happened you'd be quite worried and confused. 'Mum, I can see Dad's farts, they're brown' lol.

This is not a bizarre phenomena.
Have a look.
The human tear ducts secrete what is in essence simple silica, though I for one cannot explain why.
Silica is a base component of sand, rock, and yes, diamond.
When you get up in the morning and have "sleep" in your eyes, its, well, crusty, ain't it?
The "crusty" part is the silica base extruded by the tear ducts.
I looked into this story a long time ago when it happened (and it was a long time ago).
They may not be real diamonds, but at the most - simple glass.
As you know - glass is also a silica base.
Just saying................

Ever since I was a child, certain words, when I see them written, produce colors in my brain. I know it sounds wacky, but it's been happening for as long as I can remember.
For example, the word "people" produces the color grey, the word "elephant" produces pink, and the word "sex" produces green.
Not all words, but quite a few. And it's always the same color for each word.
