It is very simple:

Just click on "disclosetv" below the subject input field and enter the number of the video ( not the link of the video ) between the [ disclosetv ][ /disclosetv ] tags.

Where do you get the video number from?

Just look for the number in the link of the video. Here is an example:

http://www.disclose.tv/members/action/viewvideo/680/Disclose_tv___Hidden_Truth_Revealed/

This video has the number 680. So you have to put 680 between the video tags.

PS: The same process applies for videos from YouTube and Google Video!

[Update November 2009]

We added a new field "Disclose.tv Forum" on the right hand side of all video pages. Just copy the code from this field and paste it into your forum posting to embed a video in the forum.

just wondering, do you have the code for a general flv player that will accept a url ?
from say fliqz ,youku ect
or have you disabled this option for security and anti spam ?

eg

i used to be an admin of a movie forum (using mybb forum software)
and have the code if you want it

(its also fairer on the other hosts bandwidth)

i should have worded my question better :oops:

i meant for forum embeds from other sites bar google and youtube
i see the youtube and google tag buttons which use the number not the whole url
but there are other sites and a general flv player bbcode would be handy
for forum only video clips

Can someone please show an example of how to post a youtube video? I'm very good with computers but these instructions just plain suck! Just because it's easy to you doesn't mean the rest of us get it.

If you want to post a youtube vid its prettty simple....

First off, in the full post editor click on the youtube box at the top and you will see this appear
[ youtube][/youtube]

Now, open a second tab and go to the youtube vid you want and click on the share button under the vid and you will see a URL...
for example...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LicNQpUh0o

now...

copy everything from this url after the v= in the URL (here highlighted in brown)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LicNQpUh0o

now paste between the [ youtube]here[ /youtube]

And when you preview you will see the vid appear like so

[ youtube]3LicNQpUh0o[/youtube]
