Hubble captures images of Apollo 17 landing site
The story that Hubble cannot take pictures of the moon because blah blah blah blah is easily refuted by giving a link of the Apollo 17 landing site as seen by Hubble

Available at http://hubblesite.org/gallery/album/pr2005029g/
I also happened to have the picture they already replaced with the b&w one above. I immediately uploaded it when I saw it was replaced.
Lo and behold!

The identifiers for the photos are the same, to wit hs-2005-29m and hs-2005-29g

with today's technology, photos and videos not longer have any credibility or validity.
everybody,together....
yeaaaa technology
and just because the 'official' hubble site posts some picture what could literally be anything,
doesn't mean that's proof of anything.
i didn't get where i'm at today by listening to gov't run organizations
peace

Maybe it's just me, but where is the lander in the pictures?

I think his point being is that Hubble can take pictures of the moon.
big deal.so can i.
and why now?
what..did it take them 20 years to figure out how to turn it around to face the moon?
highly unimpressive.
this picture looks like my bathroom tile.

I was thinking the same thing. What am I supposed to be seeing in these pictures exactly?
I see no evidence of the landing, not that I believe the Hubble can't take pics of the moon, nor am I a moon landing hoax believer.

Some answers and thoughts

Hope this is food for thought.
I will be back with more info, if people get interested
- This is the first time that more than a handful of people is aware that the Hubble telescope can take photographs of the Moon. The implications are … long to enumerate
This is the only photograph in color of any Apollo alleged landings site (the one not available now)
This region in the b&W pic is called the region of the Littrow Mountains
The blue region (in the colored pic which I anonated next), behind the towering sculptured matterhorn, is known as the Taurus Littrow Valley, the place were Apollo 17 chose to land
“Because it had geologic features promising a varied collection of images, samples, and other data from both ancient highland and younger volcanic areas” according to the Encyclopedia Britannica
The upper red arrow shows the exact spot where the Apollo 17 mission supposedly landed.
Find the corresponding region the second red arrow points to in the black and white pic, that was hidden in the black bands in the colored one. There is an effigy there – there are more effigies around but it’s difficult to make out, this is an alien land.
The Littrow Valley has been also known throughout astronomy history to be one of the epicenters of unexplained luminous phenomenon observed several times in the last centuries by prestigious astronomers.
This is most important: The supposed landing site -- without enhancement as I know there are some constructions around that spot – and in fact all around the area happens to be in a cliff. – work that out yourself.

Hope this is food for thought.
