Apparantly, it was part of a 'viral marketing campaign' for Shadow of the Colossus and was launched by Sony to promote it - hence it dropped off the radar when everything was over, also it's from 2004, it's now 2010, had this story been true, The interent community would have been all over it by now, I think!

Hmm...I smell hoax...very scant on background info...also he claims it was unearthed during a recent earthquake but there is a road it seems, runnung right next to it...suspicious but interesting :flop:

First linked to by hub site Giantology on October 5, 2005 (nearly two weeks before the game was first released), this hoax focused on Dutch archaeologist Casper Shilling, and his "discoveries" in the mountains near the town of Bam.
