I am not an expert, but if that picture is recent I would say tropical storm Alex took a swing to the south.

If its heading south then thats ok, but if it turns and decides to head North East towards the oil spil then that will make the situation a whole lot worse than it is already!

PS, that storm shouldn't enter the gulf unless it makes a dramatic turn, they use water for fuel, once inland they loose steam on the norm. That one should roll out into the Pacific and quietly defuse, worse case it may follow the western Mexican shore and throw sand in their eyes.

I'm not trying to bullshit anyone here, that is the area that T.S. Alex was in and looking at the cloud cover from that picture, It really looks like it kept going west instead of going to the Gulf. If I'm wrong, I will admit it.
