The story goes like this:

...a Dr. gives a "secret" cancer treatment to a friend which helps him. This treatment doesn't cure him but improved his quality of life while extending it, he still died from cancer later. But he was expected to live months - but instead lived years.

The interesting thing is that we are also told that this Dr. has also had several run-ins with the law etc. etc.

I wonder what the full story is...

I have no proof to back it up but I believe that there is a cure for cancer and H.I.V as well,I mean look at Magic Johnson,He announced a long time ago that he had H.I.V and even after all this time Magic is still here.....like magically.
There would be lots of revenue lost in the medical field if they came out with a cure for anything that requires countless,costly procedures that never end and even after death the family is still footing the bills that stacked up through years of chemo and prescriptions.
