Miserable: Daniel Kiunsi says the UK Government's decision to seize his passport has caused him 'great unhappiness'
AN immigrant is attempting to sue the UK Government for £11 million — for making him unhappy.
Daniel Kiunsi, who is from Tanzania in Africa, claims officials violated his human rights by confiscating his passport three years ago.
Mr Kiunsi says it caused his family 'great unhappiness' and insists the authorities should have provided for their 'basic needs' such as food, rent, council tax bills and other costs.
Kiunsi says he 'scientifically calculated' the figure of £11 million using internationally accepted methods and has issued a claim with the High Court in London.
The electrical engineer, who is in his forties, had been in the UK on a work visa but left to take a job overseas.
When he returned, officials seized his passport as he didn’t qualify to re-enter.
He was allowed to enter to arrange for his family to leave — but is still here.
Kiunsi, who lives in Upminster, Essex, is citing his right to liberty, a fair trial and private and family life — plus human rights laws relating to 'torture or inhuman or degrading treatment'.
He told The Sun: 'It’s the issue of the happiness.'
The UK Border Agency said: 'We will challenge this robustly.'

as ludicrous as this claim is, in the current climate of madness i wouldn't be surprised if he won, or is at least given some court time to present his 'case'. with legal aid, of course

I find this interesting as most people who are fighting some sort of cause or are unhappy for a particular reason when you try to look for the route of their problems, the government has a hand to play in it. The more government there is, the less accountability there is. The fraudulent and failed nature of corporate person-hood is just one aspect of this problem. Everyone is blind, probing in the dark trying to get a sense of what this huge thing is in the room. Its a huge elephant or 100lb gorilla. What we don't realize is that we are talking about the same thing - the environment we have created for ourselves, economically, legally, spiritually - the problem we face is interdisciplinary and must be approached in the same way.
Accountability: when people take control of their own lives, well have less of a benefits system which crushes everyone. There will be less people talking of how corporations acted on their behalf and made them unhappy.
Corporate-personhood: when corporations have less power than real living human beings, we will be the master of money and not money the master of us. Banks wont do people over, a better sense of money and quality of life will emerge as economies are built as they should naturally be.
Ecclesiastic Law: when people free themselves of this system of law, a better sense of what spirituality means will come about. No fictions, no systems of scarecity, no false sense of security, happyness, wealth.

Done sir. Thanks

It's not about getting there, it's what you get out of the journey

It's astounding the shear arrogance of immigrant nobodies who decide to copy what they perceive as a norm in our litigious cultures and use it for their own advantage to be attention whores, freeloaders, and ultimately greedy pigs all the while riding the high horse, oblivious to what asses they are making of themselves.
Rant over.
edit: Maybe I should sue the local minority group for making the property taxes go up because the schools now have to accommodate their hoards of non-English speaking children. Do you think I'll win?
