It's great for removing Spyware, Malware, Root-kits etc. Ive been using this in conjunction with Bit Defender Total Security. I haven't had a virus or any Malware/Spyware for over 2 years.

I got my full version via torrent from ThePirateBay.org. The trial has all the features you will need anyways. Download these program. Run the Malwarebytes scan first, then Bit defender. Turn your system restore off after the scans are done and reboot. This will delete all system restore files, and any viruses that are present. Then when you log back in to windows turn your system restore point back on.

Also this is a handy little program.http://download.cnet.com/ccleaner/ It's called CCleaner. It will keep your registry, browsers clean and empty the junk files that accumulate in your folders, and give you more free space etc.

Do all the above and your computer will feel much better. :flop:

Unfortunately Anti viruses cannot protect your computer from stupidity. My computer has not had a virus for 2 years. I browse porn everyday. However i refrain from using internet explorer as its a hackers/exploiters dream. I am a regular bit torrent user and downloader. I download around 100gigabytes of films, games and software a month. Occasionally i may download an infected file that is in the form of a software patch. However if i do the anti virus is able to eradicate it as soon as it tries to activate. I use Firefox and Ad block which stops me from getting pop ups. I get the occasional one once every blue moon. I refrain from opening suspicious attachments via email. I also keep my system drivers updated on a regular basis. I am aware of what files are running in the task manager and what ones don't belong there at all times. I have been using a PC since i got my first one in 1994.

In essence what i'm trying to say is. The only way you are getting infected is via one of the above way's i mentioned. Your anti virus can only do so much. PC's don't just magically get infected. It's your actions which the anti virus has no control over. If you decide to install an active x program in you explorer without knowing what you've done, thus being infected by a backdoor Trojan. THEN whinging that your "anti virus program" didn't work. Well that leads me back to the initial statement i made.....

So please don't sit there calling me a liar, which is what your basically doing. I was offering some sound advice to someone who asked for it.

right ill begin with the only post that had a point.this was about internet explorer.a hackers paradise , yes it is , am i searching on this , yes i am.(reason for which is that i had whats called 'blue screen of death'(another story.)of which i managed to contain too gchrome and mogzilla.not bad for someone who looks at porn and is pc stupid).also my pc is FULLY PROTECTED.i have not had any and i mean any problems for years.and just to top off the stupidity statement my 20yo son has just completed and passed his exams in computer maintanance and walked into a job with i.b.m.with my other son 18 hot on his trail.

my videos havent been working for a week now. my computer states that its ither my connection or the website is under construction. my computer is protected, video work everywhere else so what the hell is going on.I have contacted dtv but im still waiting for a response.waiting /and waiting I hate waiting but good things come to those who wait,right? How about maybe?
