A Giant alien worm spotted on Mars
eldorado wrote:Weird how the white trail differs from the shadowy groove behind it......cant figure it out?
Maybe its the angle of the sun thats making the shadow look odd???? Not sure though what to make of it, but the shadow also caught my eye.

(or does it due ze sun´s angle?)
Though the shadow don't pair up with the white smudge, it's an incredible twister anyway. Remember it's NASA that is vouching that never before seen high definition photograph of an alien tornado in another planet.

That does not look like the shadow of the twister. It looks like the path it followed. A dark charred/disturbed path. Anyway my opinion at least.
What?

truthi, at last somebody with the analytic skills to see this cannot be a shadow. (well marduk had already realized but nobody believed him

Case closed Will thanks for that.
I didn't ignore it btw, I just read ahead and missed it (albeit it several times apparently)...
Speaking of a mars worm...
Now, That is worthy of the title. Definitely.

No. Imo, you were write the first time.
that is because the angle of the sun is low, so the long shadow is the shorter curve of the white twister. You can tell how high up it is going by the distortion of the shadow and the fade at the end of the shadow that matches the diffused 'cloud' towards the top.
If you look at the original, you will see that the curve of the dust cloud- on the right- matches the curve on the ground. You can't see that in the image that we're using here, but can, on the original.

Guess my original is different from your original.

Mine is longer

You must have enlarged the photo before putting it into your posts.

Still no "matching shadow" and even if by a big stretch of mind you can make it match, the lighting is screwed up (as seen before)
