This new secret set of meetings and agreements being made behind closed doors may are making international laws about our internet use.. Includes copyright material.. Places like DTV carry such type material in our quest for the truth in the realm of educating ourselves.. There is no profit being made from any of us on our contributions but that may not matter soon..

How will this effect us???

Other sites as well may stand to become targets as well.. Even the big daddy of all upload sites YouTube.

This is a direct attack against our passing of information for educational use.. We are being labeled pirates under their laws to snuff out the internet and the passing of useful information about any topic that can be considered ANTI-NWO.

They are dressing it up as anti pirating laws and control.. The agenda has been underway for some time.. We are now in the first stages of being shut down.. They know "Whomever controls the information and communication, rules the world.. " They see the internet of a loss of control...For the past decade or so with the internet information is a global sharing phenomena and now they want it to stop.. Truthers are being silenced.. They will control all the information, and even go as far as imposing the removal of users that infringe their new laws.. 3 strikes and you are out..

They have sugar coated it by making it look like it is about movies and music.. But the implications are far more reaching indeed. Our service providers have been appointed Internet Police and have to answer to the bigger powers. They will now have all eyes on us in places like DTV. They no longer have to have proof of pirating, only accusation of infringement, then the onus is on the user to prove their case.. If not they are off the internet..

I am presenting this to you as a warning of the hand that is now grasping around your throat as we speak.. We may be in jeopardy soon.. Time will tell.. Jay Rockefeller got the ball rolling.. Please watch the two videos and then you decide..

I really believe that soon I may have to go underground if it all keeps up on the pace it is happening. The writing is now on the wall..

Web Alert: New law may restrict online file sharing

November 12, 2009

Restrictions being negotiated almost entirely in secret could place restrictions on internet service providers even leading to the cancellation of Internet privileges for repeat offenders. Dina Gusovsky talks to Shelly Roche of the Ladies of Liberty Alliance about the potential restrictions and what they mean for ordinary Internet users.

How will it ultimately effect us here??
Do they think there is more restrictions coming as well??
If yes, to what degree??

LUCAS what do you think?? :headscratch:

yeah it seems the elite is not happy about the way the internet
working , this is also :

Murdoch could block Google searches entirely
Bobbie Johnson in San Francisco
Monday 9 November 2009 09.08

Rupert Murdoch says he will remove stories from Google's search index as a way to encourage people to pay for content online.

In an interview with Sky News Australia, the mogul said that newspapers in his media empire – including the Sun, the Times and the Wall Street Journal – would consider blocking Google entirely once they had enacted plans to charge people for reading their stories on the web.

In recent months, Murdoch his lieutenants have stepped up their war of words with Google, accusing it of "kleptomania" and acting as a "parasite" for including News Corp content in its Google News pages. But asked why News Corp executives had not chosen to simply remove their websites entirely from Google's search indexes – a simple technical operation – Murdoch said just such a move was on the cards.

"I think we will, but that's when we start charging," he said. "We have it already with the Wall Street Journal. We have a wall, but it's not right to the ceiling. You can get, usually, the first paragraph from any story - but if you're not a paying subscriber to WSJ.com all you get is a paragraph and a subscription form."

The 78-year-old mogul's assertion, however, is not actually correct: users who click through to screened WSJ.com articles from Google searches are usually offered the full text of the story without any subscription block. It is only users who find their way to the story through the Wall Street Journal's website who are told they must subscribe before they can read further.

Murdoch added that he did not agree with the idea that search engines fell under "fair use" rules - an argument many aggregator websites use as part of their legal justification for reproducing excerpts of news stories online.

"There's a doctrine called fair use, which we believe to be challenged in the courts and would bar it altogether... but we'll take that slowly."

Murdoch's attitude towards the internet - which appeared to have thawed when he bought social networking site MySpace for $580m in 2005 - has stiffened more recently.

Over the summer, Murdoch had announced that he planned to introduce website charges by next year - but last week it emerged that his controversial plans had been delayed, saying that "I wouldn't promise that we're going to meet that date".

Additionally, it emerged that MySpace, which has struggled in the face of competition from Facebook in recent years, was due to fall short of its targets in a lucrative search deal with Google – a slip that could cost the site more than $100m in payments from the internet advertising giant.

In the Sky News Australia interview, Murdoch underlined his feelings towards those companies by listing a litany of names of those that he felt were overstepping the boundaries.

"The people who simply just pick up everything and run with it – steal our stories, we say they steal our stories - they just take them," he said. "That's Google, that's Microsoft, that's Ask.com, a whole lot of people ... they shouldn't have had it free all the time, and I think we've been asleep."

I suppose the counter argument to that, Slushpup, is that someone is making money out of this site and there is protected material being circulated on here and elsewhere. They (the artists) would argue, I guess, that if someone is making money out of it then they deserve some.

It makes me wonder though if the carrot's chasing the donkey here and music and the arts are being used to further a much darker agenda.

Interesting post slush - Funny this one .. I myself run a private bittorrent site which supplys the lesser sites so its busy - we had 5000 torrents - My friend down south runs the content side from a laptop which accesses like 7-8 servers that have all the content - He got raided 2 nights ago at 3 am and the asshats got absolutley nothing but released him on bail pending investigation so i can safely confirm this is indeed going on - later tonight i'll get my friend to post he's very clever and battles this very subject on the politics side :nwo: Now there buttering this up saying the industry is losing major money .. Ha Ha so they never made 150 million last year only 120 million , makes me sick and if you actually asked all the artists, up and coming movie directors musicians ect ect they will all counter that without the freedom of the internet then they wouldnt stand a chance getting there material out there. So bittorrent is actually helping the people like us but hurting the coporate fat cats pockets so there playing hard ball :bang;
