On the one hand, you could say that the internet is sort of a pseudo "universal conscious," it allows people from all over the globe to reach out and interact as if they were in the same room. Although, on the other hand, is it cutting us off from the true "universal conscious?" Is it a shortcut, so to speak, that we look to for answers when we should be harnessing the power of our collective minds? It's sort of like we are looking into a mirror, instead of really looking introspectively at ourselves, and saying " Yes that which I see before me is the entirety of me." I'm not saying that I think the internet is a bad thing, the networking it allows opens us up to lots of thoughts and ideas we would have never been exposed to in our daily lives. I just sometimes wonder if in someway it is also a distraction that keeps us looking away from the true "universal conscious." What do you think ? :bang;
If it looks like a duck, acts like a duck, and quacks like a duck it is probably just a tool of the conspiracy.

I have wondered along those thoughts too, it really feels like fairy tale stuff when you start considering the possibility of it.

Shouldn't your name read 'Agrajag' from Hitch Hikers - or can't you spell that? Just wondered that's all...

Anyway what 'Universal Consciousness'? Is matter conscious and if not where is the other intelligence or consciousness? Global HUMAN Consciousness, perhaps. I know it definitely lowers attention span or seems to and...oh I can't be bothered anymore...

Cheers for that, I am aware of the correct spelling it was a typo on the night.

To the second paragraph, I have no idea as to what it all is. All I can do really is consider what is put forward to me and that so far has taken 47 years. Still wondering thats all...

The internet is not a universal conscious,it is an illusion of it,how many people on the internet can you say you truly know? Even in real life you truly dont know anyone... a True Universal Conscious requires fro all the ideas to be in tune.

Do not fall for their lies.

You still got time.

Good luck traveler.

That was my point, while the internet allows people with the same ideas to discuss them, does it keep people from acknowledging the true universal conscious. I'm not some new age groupie, far from it, but I realize that there are some synchronicities that happen in my life that remind me that we are all tied together. It's almost eerie how these coincidences come up. You could say "Jungian hallucinations", but I don't think so. What I want to know is if the internet, as wonderful as it is, is misdirecting us away from our interconnectedness, not on a day to day level, but on a higher level. Is it possible that the TPTB are using the internet not connect us, but to keep us from connecting?
