Iraq

I have been told that we did not go to Iraq for it's oil. In the same way we did not want Bin Laden we wanted the poppy. We went there for it's water. Has anyone else heard this or have any more information about it. I'd be interested to know. Thanks.

best not to be tied down to only one reason. there are several of them and they all seemed to work out for making money except when it came to finding weapons of mass destruction ( they failed there )

I was wondering about this the other day. If there were WMD, would it be more adventagous to announce it and justify the war, or secret them away. If they just took and hid them, they would be off the books so to say, and make a pretty penny on the black market. Maybe they would sell them to Iran, Or use them for a well played false flag attack (in which case the Iranians would be blamed anyways).
